How to fix Hisense Washing machine E1 error code ?

I own a Hisense Washing Machine that looks like this and it had the same error code. I followed the guide and it worked. The only issue is that, now the machine does not pause when the door is opened. So ultimately, the switch needs to be replaced. For now, I will continue to use it like that. Thanks for sharing.

@@omohfavour2750 There are two screws by the sides, one on each side, the screw is covered by something round that you can peel off to reveal the screws.
