  • It was a rainy day in 2010 at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix at Pittsburgh's Schenley Park when we came upon a meticulously restored ninety-nine year old Flanders Model 20. Its owner Daryl Kemmerer's effort to start it via the hand crank proved futile probably due to the dampness. Gives you an idea of one of the trials of early automobile ownership!
