- A pilot night tour to explore the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) in Hanoi took place on October 22, with the participation of multiple travel agencies. The primary objective of this project is to highlight the unique value of the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, a special national relic site, and attract more visitors to the monument at night, thereby diversifying tourism offerings in Hanoi.
This night tour is the fourth of its kind in Hanoi, following tours of the Hoa Lo Prison Relic, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, and the Vietnam Museum of Literature.
The tour organizers aim to provide tourists with a distinct and engaging experience by incorporating modern 3D mapping technology to showcase vivid images and narrate various stories related to Confucianism and the nation's history and sages.
Key structures within the site, such as the Khue Van Cac (pavilion of the constellation of literature), the Vuon bia Tien si (Garden of doctoral steles), and the Thien Quang well, are effectively used to convey the value and significance of education. The Khue Van Cac area will also serve as a venue for traditional music performances.
Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Travel Association, Phung Quang Thang, highlighted that the integration of new technologies into the night tour has been well-received by visitors, suggesting that more guidance be provided to help visitors better understand the stories being told.
Hanoi is at the forefront of developing nighttime tourism, with a variety of options for visitors to explore the city after dark. Night tours are consistently in high demand, and many travel companies have included them in the itineraries for both domestic and international tourists. These night tours have significantly enriched the visitor experience and contribute to Hanoi's unique character as a tourist destination.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has also initiated a project to develop various models of night tourism products, offering cultural and art shows, sports, health and beauty care, shopping, and culinary experiences. As part of this project, Hanoi is expected to establish night entertainment complexes. By the end of the year, the city plans to launch additional night tourism products to further attract tourists.

Tôi nghĩ Bộ VH TT&DL nên cho làm một số cụ rùa đá mới, đặt gần khu vực bia tiến sĩ, để người dân và khách du lịch được sờ đầu rùa cầu mong sự may mắn, vì đây cũng là một nét văn hoá rất thú vị từ xa xưa!
Giá như dùng ánh sáng để dựng lại cảnh học và thi ngày xưa ngay tại sân Văn Miếu thì tuyệt vời. Chắc Việt Nam làm được.
