I’m supposed to climb Mount Ararat next August and my spanish guide said they will provide a foam sleeping pad over there but im wondering if that will be enough to keep me warm or else bring a good winter one from home. Hello, it is not cold in august. You will only feel a bit cold at 2nd base camp at 4000m. I suppose their sleeping mat will be alright if you have a decent sleeping bag :)

Hey, thanks for watching the video: - I climbed with a Turkish Climbing Club called YUDOSK. They arranged everything for us. However, there are many private tours online. You can check on google by typing "Agri daği tırmanış turları" - I climbed in late august. The season was great! After September, it gets quite cold. - To be honest, I have no idea about tour operators. Best of luck!

There is water in the first base camp (3200m). It is not pure clean water, but still ok. I drank it directly and I had no problem. However, I heard that some people got sick for a few days. So, if you have time and heater, you can boil it and drink it to be safe. By the way, what is the meaning of Basti? Is it your name?

Regular timberland winter boots. Nothing special. In summer you can use any boot dont worry
