Cool! I looked up the Pumpkin Capital of the world after the boss sacked that girl who reckoned Half Moon California or something like that was. The Boss was correct, it IS Morton Illinois! Hope you made it and had a great time. Aussie here.
I like how in the first scene when she's baking, the entire table is covered in flour even before she starts rolling out her dough. Yeah it's totally normal to cover your table completely in flour when you're about to bake 😂
That's funny the whole place is wrecked with flour and no hair net 😂 I really wanted to give that sieve a good shake lol. Looking forward to seeing how this movie goes though 😊
@@rosemarychurchillso funny and the famous actors daughter doesnt look like shes spoilled at all. Shes in regular everyday clothing..i thought she might at least be wearing a designer piece. 😊
There are low budget trash films, e.g. "The Asylum", but this is a completely new category! The blonde sister (?) should be nominated for an Oscar! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!
So, this movie was filmed in an actual town named Morton, and had a real bakery called The Confectionary featured & catering the movie set?? Also, who else thought of the Morton Salt Company every time the town name came uo? Seems like an autobiographical movie.
My buddy Dan's wife baked him a cake and he told her he was sending it to Budapest. She asked why Budapest. He said he'd renamed his stomach Budapest She asked why again. Because Budapest is the capital of Hungry, was his reply. She is divorcing him. * Moscow, Russia
Morton Illinois IS the Pumpkin Capital of the World. Not California. I looked it up after the boss sacked that girl in the very beginning and the boss was correct.
What a thin story. A bullying rich guy, a spoiled teenager with a rich background, a dictatorial sister, a pastor that gets a million for - what actually? The rich teenager gets a college fund... No developmental process - not even something about baking, big holes in the plot. Was a waste of time.
Well aren't you just the most ungrateful and sad person ever. If you don't like it, stop and scroll on, don't be such a rude person. I'm guessing manners are just beneath you.
Wearing too much makeup is very unnatural + she is a little overweight for her role, not criticizing but couldn’t enjoy her role at all but keep looking for those flaws as a main actress 😢
It was ok until it got super religious-y and church centric. The final minutes though were cringe worthy... why would the writers think donating the million to a church is a good use of $ when there is a ton of need in the communities that the money could do more good with. and why did the writers think it made sense for the CEO to match the million for the rich girl and start a college fund for her. messed up if you ask me. I watched the entire thing, over two nights, but won't need/want to watch it again.
I love how the teen turned around her punishment to self discovery
I almost didn't want to watch this movie. But wow! It is so different and very perfect!!!
I put it on for my wife. Instant regret.
fun to see as the Morton pumpkin festival is actually this wknd and a great thing to go to for those interested!

O, so it's real !! I thought otherwise
Precious, good morals and lots of opportunity to feel good when watching this movie.

After all that mess 8:35 in and the bakery shelves are empty. Must have been only one batch for one customer lol 😅
@@sula1529 I also wondered that too 😂 like how are all the shelves empty

This was full of pleasant surprises.

Those were some twist at the end. Nice movie.

20:27 The lady's forehead in the black and red flowers dress 🤭
This movie is interesting.
Please Hallmark, equip your cooks with a hair net!!!
Hairnets wasn't introduced until years later ...
Not Hallmark either 🙂And hairnets have been in use for decades, look further back like in the 1920s.
Isn’t that the truth!!
Any good cook covers their, with a cap or scarf, or net, to prevent hair falling into the dish. It's common sense, no arguments there.
I'm gonna say hairnet too... or should fix her hair up to make the film more natural. 😂
good movie but how many times it is pronounced the word pumpkin?? this movie could easily be a record winner!
Exactly
My buddy Dan's wife baked him a cake and he told her he was sending it to Budapest.
She asked why Budapest.
He said he'd renamed his stomach Budapest
She asked why again.
Because Budapest is the capital of Hungry, was his reply.

Nice Movie
Did they really need to have that bom bom bom sound in the background throughout the entire film? Extremely annoying.
Alright I ask them to be silent 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂haha
I noticed that Lise hair 😮

Cute movie until Osteen, Copeland, Bakker entered my thoughts.
😂never in a million years will that liquid pie set.
That so true put on a hair net
Que desagradable el gesto de ese hombre ante una oración
So what are you baking.?
The cheesy song at 40 minutes in...spare yourself the 1.5 minutes of agony. The movie is OK, but the music is not great.
ALL the music in this movie was terrible, but especially that song!
Movie was so cute! But no way in donating that much to a church
👏
Straight to the church!
Is pastor mark a member of 98°?
Commercial Bakeries weigh ingredients not measuring cups....
😂😂😂 wahhhh
Not exactly my bake off movie but good nonetheless

Most scenes were so drawn out, especially the first 8 mins...sigh!
Nice movie but terrible acting 😅
omg, everyone is a psycho in this movie.

The community will receive help through the church. You must be a very unhappy person. You need Jesus in your life for sure!
Note to self:
No.🤮
