Gold Bees Price: 1 unit is priced at 59.47 Rs for 0.01 gram of gold. Therefore, 1 gram = 59.47 Rs × 100 = 5947 Rs/gram. Market Gold Rate: The actual 24-carat gold rate is around 7000 Rs per gram. Why this rate difference..?

@finance.boosan Hello Boosan sir, Big fan of your work and video's, New to this investment process, I have few questions, if could answer it will greater help for my understanding.
Increasing valuation with decreasing profit growth is not a great combination , Our Govt/DIls may manipulate and keep everything high. In general a common concern in financial markets: the disconnection between company valuations and their underlying profitability. When valuations rise while profit growth stalls or declines, it can be a sign of a market bubble. This situation is often sustained by external factors like government policies, investor sentiment, or market manipulation, rather than fundamental business performance.
The risk, is that such a process may eventually not works out in longer run, leading to significant losses for investors. The timing of when this might happen is unpredictable, as it depends on various factors including economic conditions, policy changes, and shifts in investor confidence. Staying informed and cautious is key, especially in an environment where market fundamentals don't align with valuations.
Is this understanding is correct? What are tips for new investors? Wait and watch or start with small amount not lump sum purchase.

People might get a perspective that it is a good one maybe its a good fund but don't want a perspective that it is the ONLY good fund. It would be better if you choose funds from similar category and other funds also.

    a.nifty 50 index fund.
    b. Nifty large midcap 250 index (even though some overlap is there with nifty 50 you get to invest in top 250 companies with stability and good returns without frequent rebalancing).
    c. Gold etf in small amounts regularly.
    Befor all this
Create an emergency fund which can handle your 6 months expenditure ,a health insurance and term insurance (if you are the breadwinner)
This is more than enough. Do it diligently through ups and downs, you will get through.

      @@bharathradan9486
Both are different funds one is a flexi cap fund which is actively managed and uti nifty 50 fund is a passively managed index fund.
if you are a new investor it would be easy for you to start with a nifty 50 index fund which is a passive fund (you will feel comfortable knowing it is just tracking an index so if it goes down you won't panic much because the underlying index will recover), various amc are there like UTI that you have mentioned, icici , Navi , HDFC etc.
Boosan himself has posted videos about choosing nifty 50 index fund and parameters that have to be seen before choosing one.
Personally I chose the UTI nifty 50 index fund.
      My reasons where
      1. Oldest fund since 2013
      2. Around 70% of Company owned by public sector company.
      3. Tracking error low
      4. Good track record and good aum
The expense ratio is slightly higher than others. But the reasons outweighed this con(and expense ratio can be changed by amc anytime). In terms of expense ratio Navi was attractive but when I started Navi was a new fund didn't have much of a track record and choosing a fund just for low expense ratio is not the right approach. Now it has been 3 years since the fund started I guess.
Regarding parag Parikh - expense ratio will be higher and there is exit load if I am not wrong .The fund has performed really well. But do have it mind it's an active fund.
Do your own research completely and understand it then invest according to your goals and needs.don't rush.

Sir, In a SIP method , I accumulated a amount of nearly 1 lakh. My friend advised to redeem the partial amount from this MF. Is it advisable or not.. and one more doubt: we are paying the SIP amount, AMC purchased unit as per NAV only, how compounding concepts works here

    Hi bro,
I am investing monthly 15,000 rupees and a yearly 10% increase for compounding at 15 years. Expect gain per year of 12 to 15 percentage points, reaching 1 crore.
Which is the best for this below option-1 and option-2?
    1. Option: 1-5000 amount split investing in Indian mutual funds like large cap, mid cap, small cap, liquid fund, gold, sectoral) & balance 10000 I will invest in US markets like Nasdag100 and individual stocks like Apple, Microsoft, and Google.
    2. option-2 I will invest only a large cap in India, total amount 15000 at reach able to 1 crore.

Hi Boosan some MF advisors say that it is not advisable to invest in small cap funds with higher AUM. For eg: Nippon India small cap fund which has AUM of above 50000 crores. I would like to know the reason and your opinion on this.

    • @finance.boosan
      @finance.boosan  2 месяца назад +1

      Main reasons
Liquidity Issues: Large AUM can lead to difficulties in trading small-cap stocks without impacting prices.
Difficulty in Capital Deployment: Limited quality small-cap opportunities may dilute portfolio quality.
      My opinion :
      - Look at Historical Returns
      - Assess the Fund's Strategy
      - Consider Fund Manager’s Experience
If all of it goes well consider investing in that fund.
