Absolutely stunning, as a longtime audiophile I really enjoyed this. I play a lot of the usual classical icons, everything from Beethoven to Brahms, Mozart to Mendolsen. I'm curious when this piece was composed. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for watching. Though we don’t know when exactly it was composed, it is the overture to an operetta called “Leichte Kavallerie (Light Cavalry)”, premiered in Vienna in year 1866. The operetta is seldom played, but the overture is one of the often played music composed by Suppé.
