    The brand: Nespresso
    The model: Expert / Expert Off Black / C80
    The pros:
    - Design - The Nespresso Expert in my opinion is a beautiful machine, that looks modern.
    I love the rounded curves of the machine, including the drip grip cup.
    - The Expert is an automated machine, so once it finished brewing coffee from a capsule, it falls straight into the capsules tray. This is a minor, yet functional feature that makes the whole operation of the machine super smooth.
    - The temperature dial - you can choose how hot will be either the coffee you’re brewing or the water you’re boiling using the machine. This makes the machine more relevant for more users with different tastes and needs.
    - The machine allows you to boil water, which makes this machine much more functional, as you can use with it to make other coffee drinks, tea, instant soup, hot coco etc. I wouldn’t say it should replace an electric kettle, but still this is a very functional feature.
    - Offers Bluetooth connectivity with various features using a designated app (for both Android & iOS devices). Unfortunately, the app wasn't active during the time I had the machine in my area, so I cannot have a solid opinion about it (if this will change in the future I will let you know).
    The cons:
    - Size - the Expert is a large and quite heavy machine. I enjoyed using it for a personal use, but it takes a more space compared to “personal use” coffee machines.
    - Water tank - very fragile plastic that is prone to break easily. I prefer to pour water into it while its attached to the machine, rather than to detach it from the machine and fill it with water. As I said and demonstrated in the video, you can see that the water tank’s lid broke on it’s edge because it fell on the floor the first time I took it. So though the machine is well built, this isn’t the case with the water tanks.
    - The capsules tray / drip grip tray - It has a tiny handle to pull it outside, which is not convenient at all. Not only that, when its pulled the two parts sometimes detach from each other because of the momentum, and the capsules and the liquids create a lot of mess. I think a better design is required at least with the handle.
    - The Bluetooth connection / app isn't relevant in several locations, including the one I was while I reviewed the machine.

      The orange indicator is the service indicator, so if something goes with the machine it will turn on.
      The power on indicator is the one of the display at the buttons in front of the machine.
      BTW - you can comment on the previous comment instead of writing a new one each time, it will make things clearer to me and other people who read what you wrote ;-)

    Hi. My newly purchased expert & milk refuses top up, even after I have pressed the brewing button and before the capsule has ejected. This is on the Lungo setting. Is this normal, or is the machine defective? Thanks for good video.

      Thanks for your kind words,
      It's hard for me to figure out what's the exact problem.
      If you just press the lungo and everything is set properly - no reason for a problem.
      The lungo should the larger quantity compared to the ristreto, unless you changed the setting of the machine.
      If none of the above applied your problem, then I suggest to contact the customer service and ask them if there's a problem with this machine.
      From my personal experience, this is a brilliant machine, and I had a great experience with it.
      Unfortunately, not many people think like I do - some of the people mentioned poor build-quality and reliability issues, so there is a chance you encounter these issues as well, but I suggest do follow what I wrote above before jumping to any conclusions.

      OVR Chef Thanks for responding. The issue has been solved. Actually, there was no issue. Being accustomed to the more basic machines, I expected this one to top up the coffee immediately after I had hit the “brew” button, just before the capsule was ejected. This machine however, lets the capsule cool, before commencing the top up. So you have to be patient and not be tempted to hit the “brew” button twice. Doing so will immediately eject the capsule. Up to 25 seconds can pass by, before the top up starts. Works a treat now. Really loving this machine.

      Hey dear Charlotte Nielsen!
      The Nespresso Expert coffee machine has 2 modifications - with or without a milk frother.
      The one I reviewed in this video doesn't include a milk frother.
      The other model has an integreted milk frother that is exactly like the Areochino 3 milk frother that can be purchased also as a separate unit.
      Let me know if you decided to get this machine or not (personally I love this machine a lot!).
      I hope my answer is still relevant since I was away for several days & it took me time to reply ;-)

    Mine just drops the capsules down and always has the service light , only the hot water works , any ideas on how to fix or what may b issue

      Hey dear eLeS Digi!
      I guess if the service light is turned on - the machine needs a treatment, periodical check or something that you can sort easily.
      For this issue I would advise contacting the Nespresso customer service.
      As for dropping down the capsules, only hot water works - not sure either, but I guess those problems probably stems from the rest. I would advise to try resetting the definitions to the manufacturer's original setting, and if it not works - talk to the Nespresso customer service.

    I loved it when it was working! Sadly these machines just don't hold up. They will replace it when in warranty, after that you are on your own. My machine was replaced 3x. Always the same problem... Water leaking out of the brew chamber and into the cup holder. This is despite only using the original cups and descaling 2x per year. :(

      I'm sorry to learn about your experience, but you're not the first one who tells me that (usually people from North America mention this issue).
      I know Nespresso stopped selling this machine certain places so its probably because of that, because the machine itself is the one I loved the most among all the Nespresso machines I owned so far.

      @@OVRchef Ok I seem to have found a fix for it. It seems the waffle shaped piece at the end where the foil of the capsule goes becomes clogged. I tried cleaning it with a toothbrush and this helped but for one single day only. Since I was faced with throwing it in the trash, I deceided it would not hurt to attack the problem radically hardcore.
      I took the coffee maker outside, opened the capsule door and sprayed the waffle piece multipal times with a 10 bar pressure washer. I used several 1 second bursts.
      Afterwards I placed the machine at 45° and let it drain for 4 hours.
      It now has been working for 3 days with no problem.

    This machine is really horrible mine sometimes the coffe and the water comes out at the same time..

      Sorry to learn about your not so positive experience with this machine - personally I loved mine, but I heard that some people had issues with it...
