Seth mains have my utmost respect. His combo routes are straight up war crimes. Blatant violations of the Geneva Convention. I know Seth mains can get flak for essentially not letting the opponent play the game due to Seth schmixing them to oblivion, but if you’re inputting those hellish commands every game, you deserve to lock me in a corner and never allow me to play lmao
Seth is often called a 1 player game character but actually he's a 3 player game character, you fight your opponent and yourself from yesterday at the same time, and you gotta surpass both to win.
@@Tsunami14 Basically once he gets going he can loop pressure into mixup into combo into more pressure and it's hard to escape the loop so you basically don't get to play the game. He has unavoidable unblockable setups he gets full combos off of. But yeah he has the least life and smallest buttons in the game to compensate. Most chars 2-touch him.
I've mained Seth for 10+ years and I still drop stuff once in a while, he's both fast and precise, but also the coolest char in the game, so that's ok. Btw, for that ender that took you an hour and a half and felt like luck, what you're meant to do is delay the tk B air DP for as long as possible, you have way more time than you think, and the delay allows the orb to fire right as you do the heel drop.
Dude, absolutely. I can do maybe 55% for my most favorite characters. Those missions aren't even optimal combos most of the time, they were MEANT to test your patience, so don't even worry about it, there are more important things to get good at in Uni.
I have spent over 500hrs in Seth lab in Unist1... And still can't play him consistently like big names such as Oshihitto (i don't recall how it's pronounced). Every day is a seth day. 😵💫 Kudos to you Justin.
Vatista definitely has the most difficult combos in UNI, at least to me, because of having to deal with both charge motions and NE. Negative Edge isn’t that bad, but I’ve always despised charge motions. On top of that, her Specials have different charge timings.
I want to play him at first then I got to his expert combos I just said to myself to go back playing nanase and hyde mad respects to you soldier for nailing them combos
@@hideharu-xiii8852 they actually nerfed seth quite a bit which is sad considering how hard it is to play him compared to some of the other full screen normals.button but what can you do I can't unlearn the guy I've played him since UNIEL xD
Seth is probably the main reason why I play characters who are speedsters or just end up all over the screen. Playing this character since 2017 has done things to me.
I'm clueless what "214A Hold Plinking 8" means. Can somebody tell me how that works? I thought pinking was for linking inputs of heavy attacks into weaker attacks to extend link windows.
It's like a rekka followup, 214A is a command run that you can do a bunch of followups after, and one of them is done by just pressing up right after it, which is that teleport falling heel drop kick move he does right before the orb shoots.
As someone who did every trial except vatistas in uni2, I can confidently say you’re out of the woods justin. Nothing gets even close to as hard as the last 3 chars. It’s a breeze from here.
My mans did yuzu trials. Yall telling me seth combos are harder than hers? Im scared now 😅😂 Personally, id like to see justin tackle some guilty gear xrd trials 😈
Yuzu has tricky negative edge and holding buttons down but Seth is just pure speed and input upon input back to back. You gotta be very clean and precise and efficient or stuff drops and you die.
To become Combo Deity, you must complete Ash Trial 8, 9 , & 10, BlazBlue Central Fiction 💯%, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 💯%, AND Persona 4 Arena Ultimax 💯% ✊🏾💪🏾🤣🤣🤣😎
These videos are funny but somehow I feel they are hurting the sales of the game. The game isnt that hard. These trials are just for sweaties. Contrary to Granblue, this game is not aimed just to be "casual friendly". It is aimed to be both, cusuals and tryhards. I use Endiku and I participate in tournaments just mashin the autocombo after a normal combo. Endiku is braindead and the game allows you to have nice matches with friends. You will always end losing to a sweatie but at least you feel you are punching back. GB in the other hand, reversals with s in one button, that shit is cursed.
@@hideharu-xiii8852 Not sure if that was aimed at me or whinegummi, but I do have the previous Under Night. And let me ask you this: if a new player wanted to play a fighting game, what do you think they would choose: this or say Tekken? I like watching Under Night, but playing it is a different story.
@@darkholyPL It was kinda aimed at both, but I didn’t mean to come off as hostile. The tutorial in UNI 2 explains the intricacies very well. So honestly new players should still give it a shot

@Dreikoo I've heard this term a few times, but still din't know what it means to be a "1 player character".

I’m a relatively new player(been into fgs seriously for like a year or so) picking up Seth… his 5-3 took me like 6 hours or something insane like that

Thanks for the tip!
Godlike tip bro thanks!
i can hardly finish 40% of the characters combo trials from that game so seeing justin struggle is somewhat validating to me

bro still did in 3 hours what most seth players can't in 100 😭
i mean it is THE justin wong... dude is cracked at everything 😂
10k+ hours in fighting games as a whole > 100 hours on one char in one game
My fingers are screaming just from watching this, i am not attempting any of those combo trials anytime soon.
Same here
i love uni, but i'm too broke for uni2 so i'm suffering vicariously through you. godspeed soldier
Missed out on the $10 humble bundle key, you hate to see it
Sale soon tm
You have to have an assassin mindset for Seth lol
Thats why I played Wagner After going for Yuzuhira and Seth, they both messed with me in different way.
Adding the timer was a brilliant touch
Crazy combos. If I tried that my hands would crumble into dust .
6:41 I wouldn't even ATTEMPT TO TRY to do this 1...
My friend was the same way too LMAO, hes now a Kuon player.
Im a eltnum and merkava player and i cant wait for you to do merkava trials :)

Justin should 100% do Naoto’s combo trials
This is harder to remember then me learning different bus routes I drive 😂
These combos would have my hands on fire afterwards
Welcome to the world of high execution, Justin.
That aside, three hours to complete Seth? I could feel the frustration.

Seth has by far one of the coolest visuals in the game imo

Justin, how are your fingers after this?
05:32 All of that just for 2k damage? 😱
Thanks editors for the timer! Much appreciated
Well… now only Chaos is left for complex trials.
Wow this was definitely difficult but you pulled it off great job Justin keep up the good work
7:07 😂😂😂😂
:D so fun to watch, thanks for letting us participate in your misery, Justin.
Why does Justin's mic keep dying when he hits the high notes, tho?
My man really said it was luck thatt he was able to get one of those trials lmao
Seth’s combos look like long cinematic supers in other fighting games, but you have to do every move yourself.
Problem for Mr is that I don't even know how to do Plinking AT ALL
Feel like my brain's developing a tumor just looking at all those inputs! Respect for finishing it!
Im curious to know how you rank these characters on execution difficulty
JUSTIN PLEASE LOWER YOUR GAIN LOL YOU ARE PEAKING LIKE CRAZYYYY
1:01 *A Very Good Reason to Hate Combo Trials*
I wanna get into under night 🌙 ! I love the anime style and complexity I'm mostly a Tekken and mk guy and other fighters but I wanna get into this !!!
has Justin ever played Kyanta da?
Bless your fingers and your hand
The Nightmare trials for JWong Patience in UNI 2 Continue
I felt my fingers breaking just watching this. Would love to see either Hyde, Enkidu, Tsurugi or Byakuya next.
4:21 "Why do people play this character?"
That's the neat part. They don't.
You’ll some if you look hard enough but yeah, not too many Seths in this iteration compared to UNICLR

Funstrating
My hands hurt just watching this. 😆

This character on stick is so hard :/ found them easier on pad and on hitbox! The down a+b jump forward c is brutal on stick.
Ngl I just default to UNIST Seth bnbs when my brain turns off. Aerial air DP routes are just hell to remember and input lol
A lot of "hold this button" for combos in this game lo.
Who the fuck recommended Naoto's combos?!
You tryna give Justin Carpol Tunnel?
Kagura and Izanami are harder
I'm sorry Justin, I just hoped that it would say "Level 1 complete" in the end and throw you into "intermediate level 2" :D
I wanna see him try ORIE
Haven't played the new uni yet, what in the block this mix was that side switch launcher kick?
Hilda next
As a Seth main (see profile picture) I approve of this video lol
i love seth, hes my main in the game... but god damn my fingers cant keep up for SHIT
These look almost or a little bit more difficult that KOF trials...
Those combos that cover the entire screen 😂

What does hold plinking MEAN?
hold down a different button at the same moment you let go of the previous button.

meanwhile the combo i use in tekken all the time: counter hit d/b4 > d/f2 > 2 > d/f2 > 122. ez
