luckyDancer100 licensed professional here 🙋🏼‍♂️ you dont always need a heat protectant spray in particular, as long as there is product on the hair to create a barrier between the heat of the iron and the hair itself then you are fine. Wether that be a prep spray or hair spray is up to you!
