    Half cup of coconut milk has 2 grams of sugar, 15 grams of fats, 1 gram of protein, and 170 Calories. And 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder has 0.5 gram of fats, 1 gram of protein, and 10 Calories. So, this dessert has sugar and calories. It looks interesting. I love chocolate anything. So, I would give this a try. I might add 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp espresso powder, 40-50 grams BochaSweet, and a pinch of salt to enhance the taste of the chocolate. Personally, I like to use the Dutch processed cocoa powder.

      @@adamb89 well the good news is that if my math isn't wrong (ymmv with ingredients, used lite coconut milk for example to produce better results), producing 6 servings, 1 serving would be;
      71 Cal
      1.2g Fat
      17g Carb
      - Fiber 4.9g
      - Sugar 0.2g
      2.7g Protein
      With the right ingredients and using lite versions it can be a relatively harmless snack. It still way too carb dense for my liking even with most of it being fiber. Maybe someone who is better than me could find the best and worst combinations and post it.

    If you sift your cocoa powder it will be smoother and incorporate easier. For all those wondering, there’s 36 calories in one can of coconut milk, and 210 calories in the amount of cocoa powder he used. Not sure how big the serving sizes are, but they would contain some calories but not a lot. Also, yes the description is confusing because it says no calories, but the end of it says low calorie.

      No, not really low in calories, as coconut milk and cocoa are both very high-fat ingredients.
      1g fat = 8 calories.
      1g sugar = 4 calories.
      Fat brings more calories than sugar. So this dish is very nutritious because it has a lot of good calories.
      I live a sugar/carb-free, ketogenic vegan lifestyle. So for me this dish is good. We need calories=energy.
      I'll try it, but use a calories free sweetener like sucralose or erythritol because pure cocoa is very bitter.

      1 g Zucker = 4 Kalorien. Fett bringt also mehr Kalorien mit sich, als Zucker.
      Dieses Gericht ist also sehr nahrhaft, weil es viele gute Kalorien hat.
      Ich lebe ohne Zucker/Kohlenhydrate, ketogen vegan. Für mich ist daher dieses Gericht gut. Ich werde es ausprobieren, aber ein kalorienfreies Süßmittel wie Sucralose oder Erythrit dazu verwenden weil reines Kakao sehr bitter ist.

      Anyway, it's not just about calories, it's about what kind of calories. It's much healthier to eat fat calories than sugar calories, and causes alot less weight gain, especially if you're on a very low carbohydrate ketogenic diet. There's many reasons for this, but one reason alone is that your body burns alot of calories just by digesting fats and proteins, so you're netting less calories per calories eaten. By comparison, you burn practically no calories digesting sugars and other simple carbohydrates, so you're gaining almost all the calories when you eat sugars. This recipe is very low carb, so can be eaten without breaking ketosis, and the fat calories are better than if you ate sugar calories. Even if you use a more natural form of sugar like honey or fruit, it's still sugar, and sugars/carbohydrates are the most commonly abused, unhealthy, poisonous drugs of our modern age.
