I've created this video as I couldn't see any other videos about this bag before buying this backpack. So I'm hoping that my video would help those who are interested to buy this to have a better look at the product before committing to buy this.

I saw some Samsonite Red backpacks that were very tempting as well, but they don't have the expandable function, and they cost a little bit more.

Are you still happy with this XD Design Gym ?

Yes, I use it daily still and the expandable compartment is still very useful. Nothing has break and I'm quite rough with my things, it's good for what I've paid for. The one thing is the shoulder straps are a bit thick, and my sweat kind of gets absorbed in the straps or what not. Other than that, it's great if you're commuting in public transportation and don't need to worry about people opening your zippers in the back, and the expandable space is great addition to have once in awhile.

Very nice backpack, but it needs extra safety buckles on top, just like when u opened that lower outside pocket and exposed that gym bag. I do NOT trust just does zippers and i dont want my backpack to burst opened all of a sudden after like 2 years of ownership, when those zippers fail !!!

i think the extra buckles could help. i only occasionally used the gym bags from the outer zipper, but even without buckling and it stays in its compartment. The zippers are non-issue for me. But I actually don't put a lot of things in my backpack, I'm now using a sling bag and it's a better fit for me, since I use the public transport everyday.

@@winstontong5930 i had a sling myself, a cheap one and it broke. I like the best the ideea of a Sling, but it has to be a good one, versatile, shoulder switchable and after all, there are backpacks which can be also a Sling bag. Sling or Backpack, they should be versatile and safe from pick pocketers !!!
