P0638, a throttle body problem (Audi A5 3.0TDI)

The engine light started to glow and the OBD code was P0638. It referred to throttle body and after I installed the new part I was curious to find out what was the exact problem. I opened the old throttle body and saw that there was some teeth missing from one gear.
