So helpful, especially the part on how to access the connector 😅 In the middle of the job now and was hoping I didn't have to disconnect it blind. Thanks so much for taking the time to film your hard work.
Just got this code on my 2002 Miata. Thanks for the video. Makes me wonder if I want to attempt replacing it myself. BTW, please open your garage door before starting up your engine so you'll be around to make more excellent videos!
you should have got the special spocket that fits over the sensor... would have saved you a lot of trouble.. sometimes even with the spocket it can be a pain.. like you say it gets hot n cold thus seizingit up... i replaced the front sensor and its even in a worse position but got lucky
Been there with an O2 sensor before. The heat intensifies the corrosion so much that penetrating oil does almost nothing. Needed a long pipe extension on my wrench to get enuf torque…. Nasty!

So glad to hear that. If this helped one person out then it was worth it!
You did well, mate, since you did not have a RUclips video to show you how to do it! Somebody's got to be the first!

A crescent wrench? It's an O2 sensor, not a kitchen faucet!
