Martyr Logarius: The only actually intimidating zombie that I've seen for a while. Also, the run back to him if he kills you is the worst of all bosses in this game, imo.

Demorilyze Life dude, if you go on RUclips and look up the best bosses in bloodborne you’ll see logarius is in most people’s top 5. Even in the ones where the community voted. Just because you never found him, does not mean he’s not underrated you muppet. One of the better fights in this game.
Logarius gave me so much trouble on my first play through, he's hard for the same reason the Orphan is hard, just super aggressive with lots of annoying ranged attacks.
The thing about Logarius is that the bane of his existence is parrying, especially in his second phase, if you have a high skill and/or bloodtinge, he’ll go down p quickly
But he has a bullet-repelling aura on some of his attacks. I've literally fired my gun at him and watch the path my bullet takes as it moves around him.
Same, but I still never actually parried him. I'm terrible at using my gun in this game. For me I just stayed on the move stopping only to heal up behind a pillar. I stayed in close most of the time and just wailed on him. I've seen someone parry every single one of his lunging attacks through the air in the final phase, but I couldn't get the timing right. He'd break my lockon when he went into the air and I couldn't get it back in time to shoot him.
Once you uncover the secret to parrying him, he becomes small times. Definitely recommend the stake driver, its power attack (while short in range) does the damage and is quick
I stayed up all night trying to beat Logarius for the trophy. Since then he had left an impression so deep I refused to fight him for years. One day fairly recent I decided I wanted to see the blood queen. This was being NG+ 6 I might add. I was rather hesitant to fight Logarius after the thrashing he gave me. Once I had reached him I nuked him on the first try. So satisfying getting him back after all that time..

I had so much trouble with Logarius on my first game. I hadn't really spent the time to learn how to stagger enemies, and I'm sure you can imagine how that went down.
I like how at least half of the complaints and people asking for the boss to stop are happening as people aren't looking where they're going or at the boss at all, and are entirely getting hit because they're putting the enemy in their blindspot constantly.
i have a vivid memory of watching my friend playing bloodborne for the first time and coming across this boss for the first time where he dies to it and loses 70k echos and screams "YEAH MARTIN FUCK MY ASS RIGHT UP BABY" then proceeded to die to him at least 20 times getting more and more angry each time continuing to yell about martin. from then on I always called logarius martin in honor of that moment
Honestly, the most concerning thing for me is because they gave me a bold hunter mark right beforehand. Nothing scarier than when they feel the need to give you an out
This boss was the hardest boss for me since BSB, but mostly because of him spamming magic at the beginning of the fight. In my first run, I somehow got him low enough so he never had to spam magic and I found out I could parry some of his attacks (before dying). Ever since, I was set on parrying him but in every subsequent run, he always just spammed magic, which was annoying. (It was also a little frustrating to have my bullets be deflected when I needed them to land, since it caused me to waste a lot of bullets and required me to farm for more.) Thankfully, for some reason, I just came back into the fight, tried to be more proactive while he was casting magic, and when he started swinging (from all the knowledge of parry timing from my previous runs), I was able to basically chain viscerals on him and win the fight. It was unnaturally easy and yet really satisfying.
Did you play it recently or when it came out because when the updated the game they made all the attacks magic and only little physical attacks so you can't perry him
DrQuadmaster4000 oh yeah that was after the patch I died to him many times in the first playthrough mainly because I was under leveled but beat him first try on my second run

fdsfs665 are you still stuck? He's actually quite easy to deal with if you up close to him and bait him into doing Melee on you, since he can be riposted easily. If that still doesn't work, say the word and I'll help out if you are getting frustrated with him

One thing that made a huge difference in this boss fight was his sword where he plants it to the ground and all the other swords come flying at you. You can completely stop that in the first half of the boss fight where he first stabs his sword into the ground and charges that AOE blast, use a charge attack behind him and it should parry him after that he'll fight you more up close than his constant flying sword BS
