CB - Araujo, Garcia, Lenglet, Mingueza, Pique WB - Alba, Dest, Emerson, TBD Mid - Busquets, de Jong, Moriba, Pedri, Puig, Roberto Fwd - Aguero, Collado, Dembele, Depay, Fati, Messi This team will not win the UCL, but there should be less turmoil, compared to last season. And the addition of Garcia, will make the defense a little less shaky. Incidentally, Lenglet was never meant to be a starter at FCB. He is an adequate substitute and his salary is not so high, so he stays. Obviously, Umtiti (unless he shoots lasers in preseason) will be sold or loaned, or his contract will be cancelled. FCB have substantial assets to offload in Braithwaite, Coutinho, Griezmann, and Pjanic. And it is possible that FCB will sell Dembele or even Moriba this summer, if no agreement can be made about their contracts. Of course, if no good offers are found, it is possible that Braithwaite, Griezmann, or even Pjanic will be retained. Any of these three have something to add to the projected squad. In my opinion, FCB should try to sign a left wing back, whether in a swap, or by using a portion of the revenue obtained from sales. Roberto is a pretty good midfielder and a not so great wing back. Rather than projecting Dest as Alba's understudy, I say the club should prioritise a new signing for this role.
