Great work. Thanks for adding tones. Theres some interesting crossover with harmonics in the cycles just as is found with frequency harmonics in hz cycles. I find that when all the tones line up and hit at the same time, in between those hits, is a mini hit of a fewer amount of them. That mathmatically is probaby the harmonics. Since this is a spiral with varying times, the space between the the big hit and smaller harmonic hit will also modulate. At the beginning, for instance, the space between will be the longest it can ever be. Slowly getting faster until it passes into an octave of itself, making 2 small hits and so on. Really fascinating stuff. Id be interested in the parameters set for each ball or note. Also i can hear its in a particular scale.

I’d love to see this but instead of the lines, having the background be “filled” - each pixel of the bg is the color of the closest node. You could even hide the nodes but it may be a bit against the point of the channel. I think it would be mesmerizing to watch the colors change.
Watching the beginning, and then the end, of these reminds me of the beginning and end of The Cavaliers 2003, Spin Cycle. Because the very end of the show is an exact reverse of how they began the show.

@17:43 using connect-the-dot radii, the circle can be divided into 60 pie-slices. With only 3 full spiral arms remaining, about that time, it became too difficult for me to continue keeping track. However, with an additional section being added @ the rate of one every (approx.) 0.5 seconds and halfing its duration to addition, with every addition... with 17 seconds remaining and only so few points left on the pie, I don't know whether a guess for a potential sectionability of 128 is even possible. Nevertheless, 128 is my guess. ...until I saw the end... It HAS to be in the thousands... No? How many points are utilized? I bet there's an equation...
The most mesmerizing thing about this to me is how each basic geometric shape is eventually formed. This is so beautiful and thought provoking!
It seems that the shape formed represents what fraction of the way to a complete cycle we are on. Ie. The hexagon forms at 1/6 a cycle

I love it when all the dots hitting the line are the same color.
If you noticed, it goes back to the start at min 18:00 (1+8=9), and then again at min 36:00 (3+6=9), then at 45:00 (4+5=9) and at the end min 54:00 (5+4=9). No wander 9 is a magic number
Dude, I watched at least 10 minutes without skipping… Love it.
the ending is so perfect 😫
This stuff be making me feel like a genius
This gives me more ASMR tingles than actual ASMR videos
Spirals, spirals, more spirals, and still more spirals. Wow!
I’d love to see this but instead of the lines, having the background be “filled” - each pixel of the bg is the color of the closest node. You could even hide the nodes but it may be a bit against the point of the channel. I think it would be mesmerizing to watch the colors change.

do you think the entire universe originates from such a kind of complex mathematics?
At time went by it changes into different shapes. This is art!
I'm a hypnotist, if you can make more pendulum-themed videos.
In the style of that rainbow video.
I'm doing research in the area.

About to fall asleep to the lovely sound of steel drums and marimbas, 9:30 FUHBREEZE FOR YOUR CAR LALALALALAH!
Watching the beginning, and then the end, of these reminds me of the beginning and end of The Cavaliers 2003, Spin Cycle. Because the very end of the show is an exact reverse of how they began the show.
Been watching this for half an hour and my girlfriend walked in and when I turned to her her face was swirling and I started laughing. She thought I had gone mad.

These videos always intrigue me, are you planning on releasing this software to the public (potentially even the source code!) or is this done directly using animation?
He just uses Matlab. I believe the code one uses to run things in Matlab can be shared though, based on my very cursory understanding of how some engineers I know survived overburdensome classes involving Matlab use haha
Ohhh it makes sense now! No wonder he can do calculations and fine tune the effect to exactly how he wants it to be, thanks!
16:54 best part for me, so satisfying
Fun fact: It takes 18 minutes for the slowest dot to complete 1 cycle
Underrated nifty comment
I was kinda hoping it'd take the whole video lol
Extremely fascinating, how all these forms can emanate from a simple spiral.

Whoever knew a square/diamond was half-way between a radius and a diameter?
...pure genius!
It's awesome at 2 speed!! Seems like freestyle jazz!
