I am a proper Hindi medium student throughout my school, college and compitition studies, I am quit good in studies, recently I cleared ssc cgl 2021 examination, and finally selected as excise inspector in chennai.I got my job through a exam in which 50% seccess depends on English, but now I live in Chennai since one month,I am a Rajasthani, and I feel myself in the same situation, everyone in my office talk in English, I can understand English but I feel really uncomfortable while explaining myself in English, but I am trying and I know that one day I will speak English confidentially 😊

English is a language to interpret information not a Skill…we can not take it as status level…however it was a trend from long time…but by promoting local languages we can overcome to this… even in US where I am from last 7-8 years, English is considered as a Language itself.
In India, this grudge of knowledge is a good source of income and business for the English experts as it is a low effort job for them. These people take advantage to such situations.
Remember… never make it a symbol status… be proud of what you speak well 👍👍
