Sparking zero has major issues with a lack of good content and customization aside from the gameplay. Compound that with the fact I knew the game was cooked when randos kept justifying SZ's garbage gameplay because it "Wasn't meant to be competitive". People kept bringing up how BT3 was just as broken and I was looking at the comments like "My G did we even play the same game? It's nowhere near as bad as SZ was" In fact, Tenkaichi 3 was close to being a competitively viable game with a few rough edges. But yeah, the game went from 120k to 1.6k players in a couple months because it was that bad. For reference, Dragon ball fighterz still had 4-6K average players by this point. A classical fighting game (Far more niche than Arena fighters) retained TRIPLE the player count, while having ONE THIRD the peak player numbers. The game is in the trashcan playercount wise and the people still playing are huffing absolutely insane amounts of copium.
i just couldnt get into sparking zero, the character imbalance made it borderline impossible to play in any unique way, with the top characters being completely unbeatable with unfair game mechanics
Has fightersZ gotten so much worse with the last patch? Is it less fun in general or it’s only from a competitive standpoint that you cant like it anymore as it’s unbalanced?
All the top 10 greatest fighting games eventually become unbalanced due to patches or players simply figuring the game out. DBFZ had a 8 year long run, its still a great game, but its not really popping like the new big 3 in FGC, and it is unbalanced. Still incredibly fun, still has outplay and competitive drive, but the competitive scene is in a rough spot. It also doesn't help that Inzem's team specifically that he learned is booty, and every pro's basis for "fun" will always be attributed to success. Which isn't inherently wrong.
The undisputed best DBFZ of all time are GO1 and Wawa. Probably 1. Go1 2. Wawa 3. Sonic You could argue Hikari vs Sonic, but i'd say Sonic. Inzem unfortunately started his pop off a bit late, and it doesn't sound like he'll compete for a world tour accolade, which is the same reason why Sonicfox is #3-4.
Right now the only person that can beat Hikari is Yasha- their team is perfect and their strongest competition have all dropped the game. In terms of the goats of DBFZ- like who has the best run on the game, GO1 is number 1, Sonic is number 2, Wawa is just about number 3, and Hikari is very close behind at number 4. Skill-wise is personal opinion moreso but I’ve got SonicFox at 1, GO1 at 2, Wawa at 3, Nitro at 4 and a tie between Yasha, Inzem, and Hikari for 5th.
Thank you for the update, keep doing what you enjoy and make you happy o/

Yo
Do you still think Hikari is the best dbfz player?

No the level is higher rn
These guys are out
And Ikari is untouchable imo
Wawa would get bodied

I don't know
I watched an off line set yesterday Hikari 5-0 Yasha it was brutal
@@bobross4616 Wawa will forever be my goat but to not put Sonic in the same tier as Go1 is mad disrespectful 😅
