it looks really hard to discover, but at the same time very easy, cause what you should realize it's just: 1) the water/spikes make you come back to the last ground you touched 2) the "status" of the blocks controlled by the remote is the same in all the world map, meaning you change the whole map. just connecting these 2 simple things makes you try to "fly" to another room with a controller for the remote and then go to water/spikes. funnily enough, a streamer called Smallant made very recently, like a month ago, in Super Mario Odissey some custom moons (collectibles) as challenges for his friends, and one of these required EXACTLY THIS PATTERN, which basically was: 1) go near where the moon is caged. 2) go getting the key without touching anything considered ground. 3) fall into the void (while being in the "assisted" mode of the game) to get teleported by a bubble back near the (now open) cage with the moon, which would be inaccessible otherwise after leaving

@@neilisalive4892 in the room where you have brown platforms there is a secret room. If you died less than some amount you can get the chest and you can get that wand. Keep collecting all the eggs you'lll get the layer 2 :)
@@wertjoe Idk if there's a limit, but there's a chance he has so many deaths that the room is filled to the brim with skulls and he can't enter (which would explain why he hadn't found it already).
You need to get the bubble wand in order to actually use it, and unless there's some sort of wrongwarp you can do without any items I don't think that's happening
I thought it would have been something to do with throwing a firecracker at the fade door so it wouldn’t be blocked and then go down and use the remote in the next room and quickly go back

It's through the left wall in the room right before you drop down to the plunger that defeats the manticore.

One of the most infuriating things in the game. It's the only thing standing between me and BDTP.
I prefer disc riding to the right side. You only have to travel 2 screens to the right, although you have to learn the remote timing.
