I don't get these players at all. I know it is a LMS game but it is also a strategic shooter game. How is camping 20+ min just to die right after fun?
Not at all. When I starting playing Fortnite that was my way to go... Find a safe place to land, gather some gear and only fight when I'm confident (and usually get the first damage onto the opponent). I noticed that after a month I did not get any better in Fortnite due to my 'strategic'.
I started not caring about my kd, dropped right when you could drop from the bus. Gather gear and start early fights... ofc I died a lot but I learned how to handle quickly and fight, even with shit weapons. Eventually I got a hang of how to aim, shoot and hit people and started to learn myself how to build. Now I use my 2 mouse buttons + Q and can build quite fast.
If I continued the camp strategic my kd would still be shit, I would still not be able to build, and I would stil not be able to fight other people properly. You ain't going to get any better from camping 20 minutes.
I rather kill 8 people and die after 10 minutes and only win 1 in 50 games than camp 20 minutes, avoiding everyone, and win 1 in 10 games. For me gaming is about learning and getting better, unlike those type of players.

I really think PC has bots.
A lot of people just aren't good. I know someone who has only ever gotten a total of 3 kills in hundreds of games. But they love playing and hiding. Sure, it's not entertaining for decent players, but there is a reason so many people do it. It's the only way they can enjoy the game. (This person also happened to win a solo squads game by accident)
The thing is is rather die with 40 People left and 5 kills and know I actually played the game ,than hide the whole game to second place or even a chance to win
