Everlong in Drop A (

Here is my version of Everlong by ‪@foofighters‬, but in drop A.
I used my Squier Telecaster Paranormal baritone to record the guitar parts, and this is the first project I’ve completed using Logic Pro 11. I’m happy with how it’s turned out 😀
All instruments recorded by me, except drums which I programmed.

when the distorted guitar first comes in, i'd say it's too abrupt. the strum comes out like a gunshot. the studio recording of everlong and many of the live performances have that slow brooding strum at the begining, i love it, it really sets the tone. of course this is just a matter of personal preference. this cover is awesome and i only have that one nitpick, i just thought i'd give some feedback.

Appreciate the feedback. I will say I did mix this quite quickly and must have missed the attack for the first distorted strum in the mixing phase. I definitely added it, but it is what it is now as it has too many views to take down 😅

@@weakattheknees_ With that being said I find that most people don't care too much about the mix except for fellow musicians.
The vast majority of a general audience tends to care more about the song as a whole.
