Orocovis, Puerto Rico: First Day. Waterfalls Chorro Dona Juana, Casita del Rio, Plaza & Longanizas

- On our first day in Orocovis we stopped by Chorro Dona Juana, a beautiful huge waterfall then headed down to Casita del Rio where we stayed. At this place there is waterfall and pond just in the backyard! We also stopped by La Sombra (Longanizas de Dona Maria) for some dinner then to the town plaza for some ice cream from Franchellas. We had some other adventures (stay tuned for those videos) then returned home. On our last day we hung out in the backyard waterfall and again stopped at the Dona Juana waterfall where people were rappelling down it!

Beautiful place, the longaniza of Orocovis are very good and famous . There is Toro Negro Park,Beutiful to hear tha Colki singing.Enjoy that beautiful place.

beautiful Casita en el rio. The big Lemons my parents called them Limon de Cabro, they were used to clean goat meat, very acid to clean the smell of Carne del Pais. You guys are Amazing. Blessings.

Hola Cassie qué bonito limpio y tranquilo es Orocovis es cerca de mi pueblito Corozal ,Esas cascada están bellas me encantan las cascadas igual todas las montañas 🏔 de la isla y sus playas 🏖 P.R.es una isla 🏝 pequeña pero tiene de todo un poco ,yo e visitado a Orocovis algunas veses ,veo que ya tiene más seguidores, espero sigas hasia adelante con tus bellos y interesantes videos ,cuídate ,chao ,buena suerte ,Dios te bendiga🙌😘👍.

It’s very dangerous to drive by El choró de Doña Juana,when there’s a lot of rain. The river floods the street and you can’t cross it. At least it was like that when I was little. My childhood school is near by ( you probably saw it. It’s abandoned now) and they used to send us home early when it was raining.

Hola esos limones son son los mejores, puedes hacer un jugo que se morir soñando, si lo busca en las redes como hacerlo, puedes que les guste soy Dominicano y me encanta ese jugo. Ellas me dijeron que usted tienes que ver con todas esas cascadas, cuando en los tiempos solos eran mujeres Ellas se te muestran cuando subes a la cascada y cuando el dron ase una toma. Wow. The grounds around the place where you stayed was just wow. The sheltered area outside the house was pretty great, too. What a great place to wake up in, and just hang out.

This video was a perfect example why my #1 preferred place to live in PR would be somewhere in the mountains. It's almost like therapy.
Totally! When we were trying to decide where to live we were drawn to the west coast because of the beautiful sea, but the mountains nearly won us over. I still love to visit whenever possible! I can see why some people love to spend the summers with family in the high country. It really is like therapy! I am so happy Puerto Rico has both!

Thank you, The lemon cross. variety is call a ""Cidra" not a cross with a lemon, but at the same time it more sour and bitter testing. great for marinating Certian cuts of meats.

Min 8:14 I think is Limón de Cabro, super sour lemon, more sour than traditional lemon.
We ate some and it was definitely a lemon and more juicy but not too much more sour.

Hi, the river with the small waterfalls is called Rio Sanamuerto and down river in the town of Morovis you will find the biggest waterfall in the island according to records, you were very close to el Monte Mime and several other waterfalls.
Thanks Realengo! We climbed Cerro Mime (you'll see in a future video). We saw that we were in the Sanamuertos neighborhood but weren't sure where the trail was to the main drop.
