The Director of Greek Life has allowed the watering down of the D9 organizations on campus. It is too many women on this line. There is no way they all know each other. This is representation of the brokenness. Beyond that, the school is charging everyone in the building to attend the probates. NCA&T is wrong for that as well. The best thing to do is just wait until they go the plot. The NEOs have a mini probate on the plot.

Serious question. I'm not trying to be disrespectful: Why is it that the crowd is always louder than the performance? When did it become acceptable to drown out the performance? We don't do this for any other performances, so why is it acceptable during these presentations? I understand that videos taken from the crowd will naturally pick up the crowd, and that the further you are from the performance, the harder it is to pick them up. But, wouldn't that be the reason for less coming from the crowd? I'm sure that the probates are told to expect this. Since it's expected, why not come up with ways for the performers to be better mic'd?

There’s your first and major misunderstanding… it’s not a “performance.” 🤷🏽‍♂️😄 A probate is not like a play where every word needs to be heard or even about entertaining the audience. It’s quite the opposite. A probate is a celebratory event where the organization’s newest members showcase and reveal themselves. As a result, the crowd is simply showing their love and support by cheering them on. I hope this answers your question.

@@GreekLife101 Showcase: an entertainment, public exhibition, performance etc. If it's not to entertain the crowd, why make it public? I appreciate your answer. Like I said, I understand that the crowd wants to hype them up, but to the point that it's drowning them out? And, again, if that's expected, why not mic them to be heard over the crowd. That's a lot of time, talent, blood, sweat, tears, and money to be invested in being drowned out by love.

Same at a graduation, totally a pile of animals, not respectful humans.
