    the emission regulations take away a lot from the new bike's sound, but both bikes are gorgeous
    also, thank you for showing us something cool from Africa

    Awesome guys I like yr research I just picked up a 1981 katana garage find with spoked wheels. It is completely black so I am researching if this was original - I doubt it but will check . Your tube helps and excites !!!

    It's good to see a classic original Katana which I remember when it was new in showrooms here in the USA. 1100cc was too much for my slim 68-inch height; I was more accustomed to 500-700cc bikes. Now that I'm older and marginally wiser, I'm thinking a classic 650 katana might be desirable but I don't know if Katana sizes other than 1100 were even for sale here.
    Aside from the Katana legacy thanks for the vistas and iconic landmarks of South Africa. I know that it is quite modern there now but I fear we Yanks still envision what was sang of in Toto's 1982 hit single, "Africa." Wild and darkly alluring.
