She's even lost her voice during promotions (like on their latest weekly idol), and seems to sing quieter during her parts on live performances. Maybe with some rest and training she can reach her potential again!

With the other two girls if you read this video title as them ft the other two..it would be believable.. you couldn't believe this was a performance by Momo ft. the other two.. no matter how much visual, solo strength, captivation, and presence she had. I'm a huge Twice fan, but even more a Momo fan, and coming back to these performances, I'm noticing that being Twice reduced Momo's dancing and singing ability so that she blends in with the group... Her vocals are good enough to get her in the main group, but they reduce her to cute nasaly lines so the rest have a chance to shine. I can't wait for subunit time because MoChaeng and the foreign line need to bring it.
Tbh, the concept Twice does is only doing favors for Nayeon, Sana and Dahyun. I'm not hating because I love Twice A LOT, but it suits those three the most. Momo, Mina and Jihyo adjusts well to the cutesy concepts but Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu almost seem like they're done with it all sometimes. Lol. Glad to see Twice go to more mature concepts lately.

A lot of people think they can't sing because of that MR removed video. First of all, singing with loud back track is hard. Try singing with earphones on, record ur voice, and you'll see what im talking about. Second, that performance in the MR removed videos is one of their worst. They were tired and its their first stage after producing the album. I dont wanna sound defensive but if people actually watch sixteen they'll see that these girls are just as talented as other idols.

Before haters can judge Twice on their talents, they should try joining a survival show first and see if they're still confident as before, especially if you already got eliminated once.

Like Ooh-Ahh was alright.. but Cheer Up to TT.. it was obvious that jype wanted to solely make catchy hit songs and not music that compliments the Twice members, which sucks because once they get a song that matches their range and vocal style they'll sound much better. I really hope the girls get to sing a song like Daring Woman in the future ASAP.

I think theres something wrong with the voice lessons in JYP that might have cause change in the singing ability of the girls. They’re already good here they just need to improve a little bit but ended up losing confidence to sing. Isn’t it horrible?

Imagination Dream I guess that’s the agency’s standard. They make a specific image for their idols that sometimes make the idol’s uniqueness dim. But seeing their promotions and crafts this year so far,their agency is paving a new way for individual talents.

This episode was the weirdest!!! Out of all the performances, this was the best one for sure. And the reason it was extra outstanding is because Momo put her heart and soul into this mission to make sure it is perfect this time, and she could show her potential, the dancing is just perfect. She had the worst luck. It was so frustrating to see. But she still captured viewers hearts though with only showing herself for just 3 missions.
I love Chaeyoung's badass image here she really shined through Sixteen compared to Twice, mainly because JYP decided to split the rap b/w her and Dahyun and in Twice she had to take on a more cutesy (typical) and shy image

This team got the best dancer (Momo), the best vocalist (Jiwon) and the best rapper (Chaeyoung) back in sixteen. It's just so sad that they did not win because they got the lowest votes but JYP voted for them. This trio made me cry the most during that episode--Momo got eliminated, Jiwon having a hard time because of her low level of confidence andddd it was also my first time seeing Chaeyoung cry :((

It hurts me to know that chaeyoung is the most underrated of Twice knowing that she is one of the most complete idols, she can dance, sing, rap, write some songs and even draw. Hopefully in the time that Twice has left they can value her a little more together with jeongyeon.
But just remember that Chae, Mina, Jihyo and Sana were pretty much rarely in the Minor group. They were strongly favored all through the show and didn't seem to be even threatened with elimination at the end.
The sad thing about this performance is that Jiwon *finally* got out of her shell, and radiated confidence and individuality. She lacked confidence throughout the first few missions, and this is where she decided, "I'm gonna win, I'm going to do my best, and I'm going to perform without any regrets". She shined, for the very first time, and because of stupid viewers who prioritized popularity (Major B - Somi, Natty, Jihyo) over this brilliant performance, she lost that confidence once more. Like... this was supposed to be the first step, then it shattered. Voters killed the confidence Jiwon might have had. Compare this performance to previous AND future ones, this was Jiwon at her best shape. I will never forgive the voters for that.
I miss this Momo and ChaeYoung. They're showing their real talents here, but in Twice you can't see any of this. That's why Thrice say they have no talent. Because they'll never see any of Sixteen or the Melody Projects they're doing.
It's probably common to a huge number of singers, it's unlikely they'd get chosen if they didn't have talent. But the companies usually seem to go for safe, quite bland, over-produced performances once they're hired. Hani is another example(not that she's bad in EXID, and they seem less controlled than other groups), her best(and seemingly preferred) singing voice is when she's quite husky.

A lot of people think they can't sing because of that MR removed video. First of all, singing with loud back track is hard. Try singing with earphones on, record ur voice, and you'll see what im talking about. Second, that performance in the MR removed videos is one of their worst. They were tired and its their first stage after producing the album. I dont wanna sound defensive but if people actually watch sixteen they'll see that these girls are just as talented as other idols.

Sorry to reply to a 1 month old comment.. but basically it's the songs. Like Ooh-Ahh was alright.. but Cheer Up to TT.. it was obvious that jype wanted to solely make catchy hit songs and not music that compliments the Twice members, which sucks because once they get a song that matches their range and vocal style they'll sound much better. I really hope the girls get to sing a song like Daring Woman in the future ASAP.

This episode was the weirdest!!! Out of all the performances, this was the best one for sure. And the reason it was extra outstanding is because Momo put her heart and soul into this mission to make sure it is perfect this time, and she could show her potential, the dancing is just perfect. She had the worst luck. It was so frustrating to see.
But she still captured viewers hearts though with only showing herself for just 3 missions.

I can never forget how the other teams are so afraid and worried to compete with this trio. 😂 But what can we do? This team got the best dancer (Momo), the best vocalist (Jiwon) and the best rapper (Chaeyoung) back in sixteen. It's just so sad that they did not win because they got the lowest votes but JYP voted for them. This trio made me cry the most during that episode--Momo got eliminated, Jiwon having a hard time because of her low level of confidence andddd it was also my first time seeing Chaeyoung cry :((

It hurts me to know that chaeyoung is the most underrated of Twice knowing that she is one of the most complete idols, she can dance, sing, rap, write some songs and even draw.
Hopefully in the time that Twice has left they can value her a little more together with jeongyeon.
If she wasn’t in twice she would fit Gidle as rapper along with soyeon
But just remember that Chae, Mina, Jihyo and Sana were pretty much rarely in the Minor group. They were strongly favored all through the show and didn't seem to be even threatened with elimination at the end.
The sad thing about this performance is that Jiwon *finally* got out of her shell, and radiated confidence and individuality. She lacked confidence throughout the first few missions, and this is where she decided, "I'm gonna win, I'm going to do my best, and I'm going to perform without any regrets".
She shined, for the very first time, and because of stupid viewers who prioritized popularity (Major B - Somi, Natty, Jihyo) over this brilliant performance, she lost that confidence once more.
Like... this was supposed to be the first step, then it shattered. Voters killed the confidence Jiwon might have had. Compare this performance to previous AND future ones, this was Jiwon at her best shape.
I will never forgive the voters for that.

I miss this Momo and ChaeYoung. They're showing their real talents here, but in Twice you can't see any of this. That's why Thrice say they have no talent. Because they'll never see any of Sixteen or the Melody Projects they're doing.
It's probably common to a huge number of singers, it's unlikely they'd get chosen if they didn't have talent. But the companies usually seem to go for safe, quite bland, over-produced performances once they're hired. Hani is another example(not that she's bad in EXID, and they seem less controlled than other groups), her best(and seemingly preferred) singing voice is when she's quite husky.
