the Jones girls did back up for all Linda Clifford's 1970s albums on Curtom a pleasant musical fact. the lovely vocals can be heard on the Linda album that's features "from now on"., "if my friends Could See Me Now" and of course this one also
I have found the Tom Moulton Mix....To be honest I was slightly disappointed....The Album Version of Repossessed is better,. I will check The Reflex edit....Thank you.Alex X
I like the album version of "Repossessed" better also (I just finished listening to the Tom Moulton extended remix). It has the entire song (lyrics). It's just like when Walter Gibbons re-mixed the original "Hit And Run" for Loleatta Holloway. I like the long version ad-lib, etc, but I also like the lyrics from the original album version. The lyrics help you to understand what she's wailing in her ad-libs. Oh, well. We can't have everything.

Not sure about the Moulton verson, but The Reflex just released a killer edit of this on his own Vinyl label that is very worth owning...

I think Tom's new mix was done on a computer. Nothing can replace the analog mixing console and original tapes for fuller sound and feel.
