Vivekanand ji for your kind information these license are issued under a tag MCWOG that means motor cycle without gear . So students b/w their ages of 16-18 years , can easily drive a scooty because scooty has no gears. However this MCWOG licence is also valid for motorcycles having more cubic capacity than 50 . But the condition is the vehicle must be without gear and it must be a two wheeler. Therefore RTO’s classification of gears into MCWG and MCWOG is by “Manually Shifted Gears”. So if your motorcycle allows you to drive without a single gear shift, you’re on MCWOG. Hence Activa is considered as MCWOG. I hope you are aware of the laws as a servant of the government . The 16 years old learners license should be updated in my opinion. As we all know that there are no 50cc two wheelers anymore now a days. It should be changed to atleast 100cc - 110cc. I am also a 16 year old and have a 16 year old 50cc license but I use proper safety gears and proper fullface helmet to ride an Activa. Also I don't ride like a typical Chapri Or an immature rider. Not all youngsters ride like a immature because of their good influence of riding. The main reason I have to ride is because of my school that is about 10km away from my house and no public transport is available to go there.
Our government makes such illogical and strict rules and then it has opposite effect on people. If the rule would be 100 cc or vehicle with max speed of 40/50 it will be better as now everybody knows their vehicle is not 50 cc so no difference whether they ride activa or bullet so obviously all will ride bullet.

Updation required in New rule at least 98cc for 16 year of age as the rule is invalid as no 50cc is mfg in India..
I believe there is no more limit on max cc engine for 16years old, only the vehicle should be without gears
