Exactly my Vibe..also check out the Green School in Bali, all made of Bamboo..a Bridge made of Bamboo..but I saw some steel Rods too..impressive organic Architecture ..Bravo..Also, the Concept of Hedonistic Sustainability of Bjorn Ingels OF BIG Architects, is at the Avant Guard in Big City Developments..putting up Walls is easy..but sharing a Space, ski slope on the roof is inspiring..Also the Library of Soldiers in Sri Lanka , with double use by School children in the Day and Soldiers at Night..the Future is all about Sharing Spaces
Mount Lavinia house is the best for me with nice balance of everything. Great detailing throughout. I guess my least favourite is the the last one. I thought expansive use of glass in the context was, quite inappropriate.
He gave a nice introduction about our identity. There is no dout that sri lankan modern eco friendly architecture influenced by the ancient buddhist monastic architecture .
