I don’t know if it will, but for Bray’s legacy I’d like it to work.
His legacy of half brain spooky failed gimmicks ? Don't worry I'm sure they'll live up to it. Just like Bray did... I mean like he failed a lot and lost the plot each time. I don't mean like he died and his gimmicks were career death ironically.

Nightbird seems to be far more psychologically based right now. Horror in theme, but not explicitly supernatural.

It's been reported that nightbird will mesh with modern day wrestling. So there's no supernatural element to the group.
I have a lotta faith in Bo Dallas making this succeed. I really like the idea of lower tier wrestlers like Lumis and Cross shining too. Hopefully the nightbird pushes them and makes them a lot more intimidating. I’m staying optimistic about it.

@@Former_EmployeeThat's just your personal tastes but the *large* majority think otherwise. Bray's work was selling well and the only reason certain things didn't work as well was cause of bad booking from the old regime.
Bray's final return at ER 2022 also proves that it works despite what (arguably kinda toxic) naysayers like yourself say.

@@Former_Employee No, that ain't the reason. The "arguably *kinda* toxic" part is about naysayers (like yourself) who write off and bash stuff cause of things like their own impatience and just giving off a negative/hateful tone in their "negative criticism".
What you're doing is unfairly bashing something that's a tribute to a one of a kind creative mind, saying it's gonna fail and comparing it to things that only didn't work cause of the old regime like Retribution (which is a ludicrous comparison cause it ain't the same creative so it's irrelevant to the current creative).
You have your own personal tastes but instead of just saying it's not your thing and leaving it at that, you proceed to bash a tribute when it's only at the build-up to a massive return. Basically bashing a story you don't like, saying that it'll fail and is dead on arrival when it's nowhere near finished and there's no basis for it failing just purely on your hateful dislike for it. It's that part specifically that's kinda toxic.
Tbh, it's that kind of hate that's just outright insulting to unique creative minds of any kind.

I get the kill joy aspect of this faction not being intimidating. But I’m just hoping they are just used to reset characters that needs facelifts . Like bray originally did with Finn . I don’t want em in fueds . I just wanna see them turn up and send people into oblivion for a while and they come back reset . It’s what the roster desperately needs

at first i wasn't interested, but the more time passes by, the more i'm into it. i really want this to work, not just for all the people invovlved, but for the memory of Bray Wyatt. they have to be very caucious with this to not tarnish the legacy he left after his way-too-early passing. and if there is anybody to pull that off, it's his literal brother that was involved in Bray's last storyline that sadly didn't even take off properly, it ended right after act 1 and we'll never know what was this leading towards. or maybe we will, maybe they'll use some of the material with the Nightbird stuff. only time will tell, but fingers crossed, can't wait for their arrival. if it will match Bray's return in 2022, we are in for a huge treat
Taker could actually bring it in the ring, besides early on with the urn there wasn't really any gimmicks in the matches, that's when it gets stupid for me.

I don’t know the best way to word this, but like I don’t even know what this group is going to be. like we know who’s in it. The QR codes just have a lot of fluff in them. But I fully expect them to just flounder on the main roster for 6 months before they do anything of note. Because weve already seen this When bray returned after white rabbit he did nothing of note really.

His return was telling a story that was a slow burn. It "went nowhere" cause it was never finished. The recent stuff is them finishing it in the best way they can.
We do know who's in the group. The QR code revealed everything to us. QR code also revealed to us that this group is inspired by cults, and plato cave story.
@@Former_EmployeeYou must've not heard Bray never got to tell the story that he wanted to tell because Vince always tried to stick his fingers trying to change things. That's why Bray got released. Vince felt he was too old to deal with the back & forth.
