The new GBHL 100 changes have made it a bit harder for us in Scotland to compete in the GBHL as we have to travell much further. If we were allowed to have more 100s up here it would be easier. All the top players now are probably going to be English as the limit to the 100s means we need to travel down south to even have a chance of competing in the league tables. The oldest event in the GBHL is also at threat of being replaced by some other newer event just because they meet the new GBHL terms. Support your fledgling communities, don't alienate them for 'perfect competitive play'
@jmaccsarmiesofmiddleearth ahhh I didn't realize there could be a negative impact to the change but that makes sense. Hopefully there's some sort of adjustment going forwards to make it more possible for diverse results. Great to get your insight on the other side, I definitely feel your pain as our community on the west coast of NA is often counted out by the bigger east coast community.
Their loss brother, the MESBG community in Scotland and Ireland are the best. If the 100 don't take them into consideration then they risk losing players who have a real love for the game and hobby, it doesn't help when there's limited tickets and players buy 10 in one go, thats up to the organisers to make it fair for everyone to have the opportunity to participate but again if they don't its their loss.

@@intothewestpodcast Nah I dont think there will be sadly. Some talk of an independent scottish league like the Irish.
Scotland’s already had their once in a lifetime independence vote - the GBHL will not allow another one sorry JMacc

Elliot: "These events sell out instantly"
Also Elliot: "As soon as it goes live I buy 10 tickets"

@@GollumGamers I'm an owl, and a worm. The early worm gets the worm
GBHL is like moria, and we British people are goblins. Which is why the league is so big
I will also say our view on proxies it definitely help who keeps host our local events 😉
