One of the better Christmas events in my opinion, £27 for ice skating and 4 hours of riding is unbeatable value compared to a couple of these events not to far from here (Hyde Park) easy to get to, Cheap car park and train station 5 minutes walk away, safe and secure with something for everyone and weekends having live music, meet and greets, roaming actors it's a truly magnificent event.
Reading born and bred here. That bridge that you can see is caversham bridge which runs over the river Thames. It’s nothing special but it’a a nice place to walk down in the spring/ summer when there are lots of swans. It’s a nice walk to Reading festival too.
I like how you are covering events all over the country some of which are not covered by other channels. I always enjoy the views that you give us from the wheels and swings.
I am soo sorry for the Guy on the icering but can't stop laughing While I see him fall again and again...😂/😢 an amazing quality of pictures and a stunning video as usual ,love your work and the amount of informations that you bring about the event ❤

Spent £27 pounds on the wristband for ice skating and rides and I must say it was well worth my money I’ve skating was great and the rides were awsome especially when it got darker I go to this event every year it really Didn’t disappoint 👍👍👍
I live in Reading, well, Wokingham, and I had no idea this was here! 😂 was going to go to Hyde Park before I heard you had to pay to get in. Glad to hear this one is free

Cedar Point is on my bucket list and hoping to do that soon - If i do I will be in touch to see if you can recommend a few other nearby parks to add to the trip. Happy Christmas guys
I've been thinking about my local event that just started this year called Yuletide at Devon (Pennsylvania, USA) and I think with how they are using the Horse Show grounds, I think they could squeeze an Ice Skating rink and still bring in 4 rides plus some seating. Could always move some to the back half of the main ring or put the rink there (not sure if 600m2 is small for an event-probably similar or a little smaller scale than this-the main draw is really the shops and the Headliner shows on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights)

Shawn I have to agree with you about why can't all Winter Wonderland events be free entry and then you pay per ride and for food. I feel like that would help alot with Hyde park Winter Wonderland after seeing your vlog and seeing how many people were queuing up just to get in.
Went here a few weeks ago, was pretty dreadful imo, i had high hopes as 'Berkshires biggest Christmas event', mostly went for food and shopping but there was pretty much nothing there for what we wanted. Not a Yorkshire pudding wrap in sight! Glad it was free and only 10 mins down the road.

You wouldn’t be able to move on a busy day at HPWW if it was free entry. I imagine it would be a health and safety hazard because of overcrowding. 👍
