i see this and think "hell yeah"
Thank You So Very Much for the comment! The band is very grateful!
Yeah, Cyriese, I love your soulful singing!❤And what a killer band - so good!😎
Thank You So Much Christian for the great clips and for that nice comment! WE LOVE CYRIESE! Not only does she have an amazing voice, but she is truly a wonderful person. ❤
Just when you think this song can't possibly get any better, along comes Phil Armeno's gorgeous tenor sax solo at 2:30. David Palmer's original lead vocal made "Dirty Work" a song that even non-Steely Dan fans loved the very first time they heard it. After being dismissed from the band in 1973, Palmer went on to compose the lyrics for Carole King's Grammy-nominated 1974 smash hit, "Jazzman."
Thank You for the comments Andy! We love doing that tune featuring Cyriese on the lead vocal and Phil on the sax. I knew that David left the band, but had no idea that he worked with Carole King. Great little fact there!
@@goodstuff8238 A fact I didn't know until Wikipedia came along. I've since learned on a RUclips interview with David Palmer that he's switched professions from music to digital photography.
@@andyinoregon Interesting about David. Steely Dan went through so many changes over the years. I am hoping that they might do another album.
