  • Mariata Couch of Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke speaks to students at Lyttelton Primary School as part of Our Stories Project.
One of the stories is that in the Hills in the back of Governor's Bay there and around Lyttelton uh whenever the mists are down never go to the top of the Hills. And the reason being is because the mists are the time of the patupaiarehe the patupaiarehe are the fairy folk, of the Hills, and they sing sweet songs and they make beautiful noises.

Oh hey guys I've developed the ability to roam the valleys I decided to leave my world for once. On account of all the large amount of mist been sold in these mini mist makers I'm able to just bounce around now in the creative mind. Sorry I've been gone so long found this 100 year old mountain to climb old Mt colonization, its actually quite Devine up there I see yas built a beehive portal gate way through to the fairy treaty hapu.
