This is really amazing! I’m a teacher, and I’m looking to create a custom gacha as a reward system for my students. I want one that uses custom plastic coins, so that they can’t cheat and use real money instead. They have to earn the coins for their prizes! I’m so grateful that you uploaded a template for me to use. I was looking around for tutorials, and none of the ones I found has exact measurements, so it’s been difficult to create one. This will make it so much easier! Thanks for this amazing tutorial!
Thank you so much for watching and comment. I am honored that I can help you. Althouogh it is need to cut parts adjust the plastic coin size and thickness, I hope you will try to make this machine. Before, in case of paper coins I made, coin was not falled smoothly because paper coin is light. I would be happy if you succeeded.
This is very cool! Trying to make this at the moment. I'm from Canada and wanted to make it compatible with our 2 dollar coin which is 28mm diameter. I tried adjusting A6 and using a tube that's smaller to adjust but I'm having trouble with the A6 part catching the A10 pieces even when coin is inserted. Any tips for this? Perhaps I have to scale up the A10 pieces too? since its the A10 size is similar to A6 coin insert on 100yen size?
This part needs to be made very accurately. If the shape is slightly different, it will not work. Therefore, the only solution is to adjust both A6 and A10 parts to make it work for 28mm coin. I tried many time to work it too. Thank you.
@@CardboardPlay thanks! I ended up having to change the A10 parts as well as adjust the dowel locations for the A8 part as well to accomodate for the larger coin slot size. But I got it to work! Thanks so much for putting this together!❤🙏 Just the coin size adjustment had given me a taste of how much work it must have taken to design this. 🤯👏👏
Love this design. I definitely want to make one. Im also looking for a design that dispenses pokemon cards with the working coin slot. Do you think you will make a design for dispensing trading cards in the future?
hi! thank you for your video. i really want to make this for our booth to sale my art but i can't find 65mm capsules in our area :(( we only have 50-55mm. i was wondering if this would still work?
If you use 50mm capsule, please provide additional cardboard to the hole of the center rotary parts to make the hole smaller. By doing so, I think that you can able to use this machine. Thank you.
Hi! Thanks so much for the template! Can the cardboard tube be any of the 4 circle sizes you put on the template in case I don't have one of the exact size shown in the video?
Thank you for watching. That circle size in the drawing are 28mm, 32mm, 36mm and 40mm. Please cut the cardboard according to cardboard tube size that you have. Thank you.
@@CardboardPlay Thank you so so much! I am currently printing and gathering the materials. I will update as I go! Thanks again for taking the time to update the design, I really appreciate it. :)
The shape of the part where the coin is inserted has also been modified. The size of the coin is adjusted to 100 yen. Please modify the shape to match the size of the coin. Have a good time! :)
love this!!! cool to see a diy one that requires actually a coin to be slotted i do have a question of how Sensitive it is to having to be an 100 yen coin? if the coin is slightly smaller will it mess up the mechanism?
Thank you so much for your comment. If coin size is difference, please adjust the shape of parts A-6 to the coin. If coin size is almost same, 1 or 2mm difference, I think that it is not necessary to change. I recomend, check the movement by using only A-6, A-10 parts and coin before assembling. 100 Yen coin size is D=22.6mm, 1.7mm thk.

Can you provide a list of the materials you used? I would like to build one for myself with the same materials you used.
