Makes me wish they'd done this nice of a job on the rags Snow White. I'm happy to have her in my collection, but IMO the skirt is a little weird. I like Prince Eric's version of rags Snow better!
Its interesting to note that the color of Briar Rose's peasant outfit appears in different color palettes in the film. There are moments where it appears in shades of greys n browns, n even a very brief moment where it appears as a minty blue blouse and purplish skirt. Personally, I find the moments where the outfit appears as a sandy beige blouse and a mauve brown skirt attractive. This limited edition outfit is lovely but I miss the pop of white you get from the neck collar folds that appears in the animated version, I feel it is the cherry that ties whole look together. Mayb if there was some white lace trimming around the collar ruffles it would have had that effect. A pretty interpretation of the woodland maiden, regardless +_0
I never noticed any of that! You must be an artist. I only noticed how her hair changes color in the movie. I prefer her ashy blonde hair when she's in the forest, over her golden blonde hair. And of course, it's always debated what her actual eye color is.
Yeah, with traditional animation the colors were painted by hand, so, of course, there would often be color differences due to multiple people painting with mixed color variations. I never noticed the hair color differences in Sleeping Beauty, r u a hair dresser?
Ah, I was waiting for your video! I have to get my dolls online, so I was up at 2 AM my time waiting with several people on a doll page, lol. It took almost 40 minutes for her to show up! We were about to freak out and fall asleep! I got her and the confirmation email, though. I cannot wait for her to show up - I'm always afraid something might goof up until then, lol. Anyway, thanks so much for showing the doll out of the box as always. I usually take my dolls out eventually, even if I display them inside later. Great review!
I'm glad you got Aurora! I was also lucky online and will get her in the mail this week. It was crazy how the online website made us wait 40 minutes! I think the August 2017 Snow White (Rags) doll had a longer wait online, it felt like over an hour...

I recommend mercari, their limited dolls section are usually pretty cheap compared to eBay. I got the mulan 20th anniversary there for cheap! Owo hope this helps

OMG, so only like 5 people showed up and they had 10 dolls. at the end of the day i was still in the mall so i walked in and all were gone
