This video reminded me of my own "Daddy" moment. I had cancer in 2016, and after a treatment I was placed in the hospital. I called my father, who lives 2 hours away and also dealing with cancer, to let him know. The next morning the nurse comes into my room and says, "Can your father come in?" I said, "whose father? "Mine?" My father walked in, and I yelled, "Daddy!" I was grown, with an adult child, but there is still nothing like a father coming to check on you. Thank you, God, for your grace that we are both still here. May God bless this child to always have a daddy that will fight for her.

I lost my dad last year and he was just like that. So loving and caring. He kept giving us kisses on our foreheads when we wouldn't expect it and tell us how much he loves all of his children. And the best part was that he was always smiling always 🥰 My dad had a tough life but told us how we his children lighten is life. I wish everybody to have loving and caring parents. My dad would have been 91. He transitioned in 1997. He was my hero. Fixing a broken toy. Daddy can do it. Kissing a wound, daddy can fix it. Daddy pulls out new batteries for a favorite toy. It's nothing like a daddy/daughter healthy bond.

Our oldest ( in her 40s) actually posted on Father's Day under a pic of her and him that he raised the bar for all Dad's. I grew up with an uninterested father who lived 600 miles away. I'm pretty sure that shaped a lot of my thinking. I'm so thankyou that my husband was and still is interested and now we have grands they to adore him
