Stayed at Compostella Golf over 25 times over the years. Cousin owns a apartment there and many happy memories.. Nice complex but too far to the coast and restaurants that we like. The only reason for not staying again was the long walks as we are getting less mobile.. so it’s Andorra for us. xx
Probably a lot less of a hike than your recommendation Hollywood Mirage in Los Cristianos Kevin. Have to admit I am rarely up that area but handy that there's a taxi rank at the Columbus if you get out of breath on the way back up the hill. Will need to give that Sam's Corner a try - walked past that place multiple times and never really noticed it.
Savoy very popular but I’m afraid it’s not for us. The meal we had was disgusting the service was fast and furious wanting the table for more diners.. food horrible when we visited I know a lot of people love it..
I stayed at the Marylanza a few years ago. Great hotel with some nice nearby shops but the phone signal wasn't great. My review at the time said it was too far from the beach. It might only be a 6 minute walk for you but not for someone older!
Going back to marylanza for 3rd time next year, all inclusive so don’t find the location a problem, will have stroll down a couple of nights, golden mile only 25 minutes max, get a taxi to los cris market and have a walk back towards vista sur shopping centre . There are some local bars and restaurants with shops across the road from marylanza as well. Love the hotel, only downside entertainment could be better, a bit short on night.
@ yes I’m a picky eater and there’s always something for me in the 3 meals , decent branded drinks, rooms big and air conditioned been lucky enough to get 2 golf course views . Love your videos, hoping to get a small break to PDC, lanzarote as well next year.

Kev, avoid waikiki bar. Flat pints n half raw burger last visit only last week.
Great walk kevin ,done tge savoy restaurant, it was lovely, did the chipper and gaelic corner so thanjs for all your tips 😂😂

The Indian restaurant near the jersey cow was rubbish last time we visited in June 2024. Glad to see it’s changed hands.

Savoy is cheap for a reason. Its terrible. There are quite a few 3 courses for about €10 places that are much better.
