LOVEBITES, with the new formation welcoming the new bassist "Fami", will release its fourth original album on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The limited editions A and B will have a documentary video of the auditions including an interview with the band on the day of the bassist auditions and an interview with Fami, who was still one of the finalists then. They will also include the four full studio sessions of "The Hammer Of Wrath," "Golden Destination," and "Shadowmaker," as well as "Bravehearted," the first song the five members played together after Fami joined the band.

I think Fami's appeal goes further than the evident musical proficiency she has with the bass. Her smile and charisma are absolutely hypnotizing, and adds A LOT of amazing energy and character to the band. Asami's assessment of the atmosphere beginning to sparkle as soon as she entered the room is spot on. This young lady absolutely has that power, and you ladies made a phenomenal choice by getting her!
Fami's smile at the end says it all.
この尺だけでも緊張感がハンパないのヤバいね。Famiっ子は自分の言葉に強さを感じるね。タイミング的にもバッチリ過ぎてある意味運命だったのかも。
最終的に決まったFamiにフォーカスしたドキュメンタリーかと思い込んで見に来たら、他の候補者まで出てきたのは嬉しい誤算だった。最近見た動画ではダントツの素晴らしさでした！
当然ながら採用1名の狭き狭き門、参加人数がそのまま倍率、KISSとか有名バンドはこんな緊張感を重ねてきたのかと改めて思います。残念ながらお見送りの方々の今後のベース人生にも幸あれ、そしてFamiさん心からようこそですね♪

Imagine the excitement and pressure of interviewing and auditioning in front of and playing with these amazing musicians ! There were a lot of seemingly talented candidates - I don't think anyone could argue against the final choice: Fami-san is talented, creative, and has the presence, charisma and style to complement the other 4. WOW. I have been waiting to see this! Amazing. I had no idea there we so many applicants. Many audition videos were submitted. So cool to see Ichinose in this video. Aya was a finalist. In the end... they chose Fami. Like Asami said, when Fami entered the studio, they could feel her positive energy. They had a good feeling about her. She has amazing skills on the bass. Lovebites fans around the world are so happy the band is complete now! After Fami officially joined the band, they hit us with the "Judgement Day" music video that blew us all away! We are all excited for the new album release! Most of us pre-ordered it already. Thank you for posting this video! this is great . being a bassist myself i cannot even imagine how cool it would have been to play with m+m. even if it was just one time it would be a lifetime memory. jeez how about the number of bassists that auditioned. no wonder it took longer than i thought it would. fami is the perfect choice. i would not have hated a male bassist but still - it just wouldn't have been the same. ready for the next 5 years

Victor is a big enough company to be able to put english subtitles to videos. Especially since Lovebites is an international band (yes, they are well known outside japan!).
