I think Fami's appeal goes further than the evident musical proficiency she has with the bass. Her smile and charisma are absolutely hypnotizing, and adds A LOT of amazing energy and character to the band. Asami's assessment of the atmosphere beginning to sparkle as soon as she entered the room is spot on. This young lady absolutely has that power, and you ladies made a phenomenal choice by getting her!
Imagine the excitement and pressure of interviewing and auditioning in front of and playing with these amazing musicians ! There were a lot of seemingly talented candidates - I don't think anyone could argue against the final choice: Fami-san is talented, creative, and has the presence, charisma and style to complement the other 4. Long live Lovebites!

Victor is a big enough company to be able to put english subtitles to videos. Especially since Lovebites is an international band (yes, they are well known outside japan!).
They don't have keyboards on their PCs with the right letters. Sold out in the 100 yen stores in Tokyo. No seriously : The RUclips subtitle translation works quite well in this case.
I had chosen someone else from the few uploaded auditions I viewed. Hopefully this video will get English subs so I can hear if she is mentioned. Anyway, no issues with the choice of Fami.

理由はスティーブ・ハリス、 ビリー・シーン、最も大好きなスティングもフィンガーリングです。
リズムでの強弱がつけやすいと思うし、ドラムとの”アイコン”などでのグルーブ感が出しやすいと思っています。
