Lovely Building. I am always amazed at the amount of Irish Architects that appear on this Channel. Can't blame them, it's a stunning Country, a lot like Ireland with Sun............
Love the siting, views. Natural drama on a site like this. Vines on the hillside are many folks dream-how do you keep the predators at bay without netting? Asking for a friend…
Lovely home and impeccable execution. A bit stark for my taste but I can appreciate its beauty. One thing I don’t understand is the use of track lighting. With so many advances in lighting tech, the track lights look so very dated.
why the roof is not only flat, covered with membrane but there is also the sloped part in the middle with something that looks like standing seam roof sheeting? Was there any specific reason for the solution?
Real shame about the ugly power lines that run behind this really interestingly architecturally designed home. These horrible power lines degrade the visual beauty of the natural landscape. They should clearly be put underground. Love the house. The builder and architect has done a brilliant job.
Crazy how an architecture oriented channel doesn't feature any drawing whatsoever of the floorplan, section and construction detail of any building. Some real estate agents do a better job with less arrogant jargon and patronizing speeches.
But they are an architect product service. Also, if you were commissioning your house build, you would not feel too happy with the internet knowing the layout of kids bedroom. I feel this channel strikes the right balance of showcasing the work whilst respecting the privacy of the home owner
I would assume that’s because. The publication doesn’t want to purchase or pay a fee for the plans to be shown, the independent architect also might not allow plans to be purchased, so that’s comes under a contractual agreement. So I assume it comes down to legality of copyright. I know personally that I don’t allow my plans to be passed around. The end product is enough for the majority.
This is why the world should respect us as Architects. Amazing job!

Isn't it just a super shallow pitch hipped roof with internal box gutters?
How many square metres is this home?
Start uploading floor plans, we also want to build similar homes... If not then the video is of no use.

the product itself is way betterthan floor plan

@@Snafulovers you obviously never picked up an architecture publication.
