He could serve however he wanted he just felt more comfortable serving that way. Imo I feel that he did that because he liked to attack his opponents left with the wrap and couldn’t do a wrap to their left with his left. So he just decided to do it with the back hand instead.
Tbf to krillin that is not a rule that everyone in big ball enforces. There are lots of open players that will do the same thing or even serve outside of the box
@vivahandball anyone that is experienced at El Camino knows that extra foot or two over the line provides a nice angular serve a bit closer to the wall to make that wrap serve or out the door serve get super sharp and true not many enforce it, but not many think about it or know about it.
@@jasonb2916 very true Elco is my home court but i feel that for any court with shorter side walls stepping over the line would provide a favorable serve. However, you are right in saying that most people don’t think about that. The foot fault is a rule that should be enforced especially in those type of courts.

krilin been stepping over the short line on almost every serve.. which is not allowed.
