Thank you for not talking over the voice of Radio Tour this time! It's something that makes this like the real Tour (sort of!) and I enjoy hearing it as the traditional start of the race.
Fantastic! Really well done. Such a thrill to be able to ride the same course-- even just virtually. Great to see the women's race! Would be great to be able to see more data-- turn on those heart rate monitors too.
camera angles and times much better. Interview at the end awesome! having a fall away from the leader while in a flat would open the field of view to those further back in the race for camera time. But as is, it was very nice. Thanks!!
really enjoying the womens races! the mens have been missing that flare of excitment so far. The broadcasts are alot more enjoyable to watch with the more spectator friendly icons and information being displayed. Love the tv angles of coverage as well, especially at the sprints and KOM points.
I hope you guys are able to incorporate some of the feedback into your broadcasting tools before this TdF is over (although I get that testing could be a problem). Gradient seems to be a common suggestion, and better finish-line footage. A couple of times Matt said we'd be seeing a slow-motion replay, but it was full speed. Perhaps your devs could have a finish-line/KOM line/sprint line camera for the broadcast so we could see whose wheel crosses first on these group sprints. Really enjoying watching these, and the commentary is great.
Athletes are amazing. So inspiring to see the women ride and absolutely crush it. Appreciate opportunity to see the pros race. Virtual TDF is brilliant. Broadcast quality = meh. Betting a graphics specialist company like Nvidia could help you out with that. Looking forward to next week.
Well done guys. You smashed it taking the circuit KOM and all top 10 spots. Fantastic :)))) I hope this shows the cockier Zwifters what real talent is, once and for all. Can't cycle indoors eh? pah. They should try some real racing sometime and a 400W+ effort outside after 5 hours of riding
the "circuit KOM" times you're seeing in the video only consist of riders in the race because the event is separate from the main zwift roads. Also when you ride in the main zwift worlds the top 10 times only last for an hour I believe so new people have a chance to get a kom/sprint jersey. The only permanent times are on Strava and those are skewed by people without power meters or on uncalibrated trainers and weight dopers.
@@MickJabber I am referring to the Strava times for the mountain circuit from the start pier, which are permanent. More than 50,000 have tried the circuit. The pros have the whole top10 just from 1 race. The weight dopers and cheats focus on the climbs
It would be nice if you would leave the elevation percentage on all the time as well as elevation gained. Instead of just power and speed. It's cool you all showed the actual racers a bit more.
I thought this too, but I think it would be hard to do. What elevation would you show? The leaders only? that would be confusing when they are showing the other riders who may not be in that location.
hope all of these riders are utilizing some kind of a fan. Seems like the riders that don't would be at a huge disadvantage. Even on a climb in an actual ride one is generating some breeze.
Zwiftpower requires it for amateur races, even at lowly C levels. Helps the algorithm sort out potential cheaters using electric motors or ANT simulators.
Still never showed the start , and MS your mic is distorted as it was yesterday, so going from mumbling to screaming uncontrollably is not good viewing
this is cool and all, but how about you guys actually address the complaints your long term users have been voicing for a while now? its really obvious you're more interested in growing your platform with more routes versus actually improving what has been horribly substandard since launch.
I rode this route on my own today in Zwift. The difference between me and the pros is.... vast.

Women’s race was awesome to watch!
Matt Stephens for the win. You made the women's race for me.
Commentary I thought I’d never hear on the Tour. Very excitedly: “She’s dropped the burrito!!! That makes her undraftable. Great move right here!”
Ha ha 😁

Great stage 2, really good commentaries and video quality improved a lot.
the live pictures of the athletes should be more frequent. it's much more engaging.
Very true
hear hear. Very hard to get invested in PS2 era graphics, no matter how hard we know they're working.
Really enjoyed it, well done everyone at Zwift.
Watching from the Phillipines

Ovett won?
respect to all those riders sharing heart rate

That radio tower climb will gut you...highly physical and psychological.

This ride for some reason is blocking uploads of Zwift rides on YT.
1:21:38 VdP drop out?

Riding bike pack watching on the gondola lifts zwiftgeek haha
What if Zwift added neutral starts to races?
Just imagine Carlton Kirby commentating on this!
i wish that all riders would have thier heart rate monitors on

radio tower should have been king of the mountain points
😂 First person with a beard to win a stage in the TDF. I guess beards don't create drag in the virtual world😂
Thomas De Gendt won Stage 8 of last year's Tour as well as Simon Geschke back in 2015, both sporting beards any modern hipster would be proud of.
Magnaldi went too soon again 😕 Two days of great riding from her.
Domen Novak is not Slovakian. He is Slovenian.
Jesus, please put a max level on the mic.
WEIGHT DOPING BY WOODS???? ~134LBS BY MY CALCS????
Still never showed the start , and MS your mic is distorted as it was yesterday, so going from mumbling to screaming uncontrollably is not good viewing
I liked the change in volume and tone - it made it more exciting to watch for me.
The finishes make my ears bleed.

Going up Watopia and call it Tour de France it’s laughable
