Ashley Young: If City win their game in hand then the title is in their hands
Michael Ownen: 🍻
our little comedian
it true though. Games in hand are not points on the board.
"When Man United don't score, they don't usually win"

Who knows if we will. I’ll tell you what though, smashing United 0-5 at Old Trafford will make us feel a lot better.
Not really, actually winning a Title under this PR manager would instead of hearing about the useless journey where we’ve made zero finals let alone trophies in 4 years
@@patchh15u gotta take steps back to take steps forward United are gonna have to do it and so are Chelsea
@davidheaven2961 Chelsea don't have to do it, they finished won the league, finished 10th, then won the league again. There's no such thing as a process when it comes to success unless you have the best manager in the world like when man utd had Alex ferguson. Arteta is far from his level therefore we won't see success with him as manager.
@@GetArtetaOut that’s ur opinion but if we do have success I expect u not to celebrate said success
@@davidheaven2961 🤣 why would I not celebrate it
Don’t complain about 89pts.
Liverpool missed out with 97!
Its way more competitive now, but yeah still mad to come 2nd with 97.
which is why Klopp has to leave, he has already come to a bottleneck, meaning he can't do any better. When people look back at this Liverpool Era they will be seen as underachievers because of city.
97 was mad but the league is alot more competitive. No free 6 pts from arsenal for e.g to both pool and city. Villa been great, WH had good results its much more competitive
Arteta said it months ago that they needed at least 90 points to win the leauge anything less wouldnt do and he was right .
What Carragher doesn’t seem to understand is the league right now is so much harder than it was 4 years ago when city and Liverpool were able to get 97 points, every team in the top 10 is a hard game, and half the teams in the bottom 10 also have the quality to snatch points from you
That isn’t rocket science 😂
I actually disagree i think Arsenal, Manchester City and to a lesser extent Liverpool are miles ahead of everyone else, the likes of Villa, Spurs Chelsea & Newcastle are half decent but everyone else is BOBBINS!!
@@omother6950what you don’t seem to understand is it was exactly the same just City had a better team & Klopp is out & out elite who also had a top tier team, Arteta can’t touch them
@@patchh15 what you on about? This city team last season and this is the best version they’ve ever had? Liverpool didn’t compete with an erling Haaland or Julian Alvarez treble winning city, they faced a city with Jesus and gundogan as the main goal scorers
It’s not doom and gloom at all. That’s just what the media and their agenda based narrative want you to believe. The fact that Arsenal can potentially take the title race to the final day against this Manchester City side, widely believed to be the best Premier League squad in history, is an amazing achievement. Do I want to win the title? Of course I do, but have Arsenal failed or “bottled it” if they don’t? Absolutely not.
This Arsenal side are the best team in the league (most goals scored and least goals conceded), they play the best football and they are the best team to watch. We have not felt this connected to the team since the Invincibles.
I don’t see “doom and gloom”. I see nothing but upward trajectory, and a team that in any other era would win the league.
Especially knowing arsenal fans are too reactive as well....
As a liverpool fan I agree, last season ye definitely bottled it (as did we this season lol), but this season you'll (probably) take it to the final day which is a huge leap forward in mentality
@@CianMcsweeney We didn’t bottle it last year and you haven’t this year. When you are up against a team that are THIS good, and everyone EXPECTS them to win, how is it a bottle job on the part of anyone else when they do just that?
Your opinion on why you’ve fallen off in the last few weeks is your own, but last year, Arsenal fell off because they lost William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu to injury in the same game. That meant Ben White getting more minutes than was ideal and Rob Holding filling in at CB.
“Bottle job” is just another catchphrase that the media want to put out there, because TV channels and radio stations thrive on big and controversial opinions, not actual meaningful insight and logic.
@@jadmantoura4483 you'll never have everything go your way in a title race, how a team deals with setbacks is down to their mentality & experience with pressure situations. Both teams did bottle it, there's no shame in it, just a lack of experience, what counts is how a team bounces back from it, which Arsenal have done magnificently
best team in the league but won't win the title. Why is it so hard to admit city is better than us? If they get more points, they are the better team. Who cares about defence, goals conceded and goals scored? It's about winning
Sounds a smart lad Ashley Young 😂
And this is the problem with averages. If Arsenal get 89 poi ts they would have have got higher points than 5 of 10 of those past champions. if they got 90 it would still be 5 out of 10. Only if they got to 93/94 would there be a swing.
89 would match the title winning squad point total last season!
That’s what they’re missing out on. City’s points go up as yours do. Break the winning streak record? They’ll break it by one more. Have 0 losses for 6 months? They’ll have 0 for 7 months.
@@mrannymus🥱 Victim mentality. Liverpool won the Title by 18 points. Liverpool also lost it with 97 points while winning the CL City were also in. They also made two other Finals one of which they beat City along the way. Stop crying.
@@patchh15 your arteta agenda is getting old. Go outside

Liverpool won 1 title since 1990. You will never ever get over that. You will have to wait until 2060 for another genuine attempt.
If Arsenal pushed city all the way last season city would have gotten 93 points. I don’t think it’s about the points I think it’s about who’s chasing you. To win the league you just have to better your opponent and that’s it. Liverpool got 98 and 97 but lost
90+ points is only the norm since financial doping and having world class players as backups became the norm. Ferguson regularly won the title with sub 90 points totals.
having a well trained squad of 16-17 world class players is better than an above avg squad of 25 players indeed
No, it becomes the norm wherever Pep goes because he’s that good.

Youngy doesnt wanna be caught out saying anything that could possibly antagonize Arsenal and be on the end of a right ol’ hiding knowing full well that Mikel will be playing this clip before the match on the 19th of May if he dares😂
But the level of competition has improved aswell. All teams are buying up big players nowadays so the difference in level is much less

Does Ashley Young actually contribute anything to this show? He says the most obvious and copy/paste things. He still talks like a player doing a press conference.
This is the one time where we could all do with Michael Owen in the studio saying “If city win their remaining games they’ll win the league” and save us all this over-analysis 🙄

No wonder teams can't beat City or get 80+ points, they accumulated 115 charges for a reason.
West ham are gunna help us on the final day. Rice is already on the phone to moyes. 1 last favour 👏
Good joke
The fact that pundits are still not emphatic about who wins the league tells me how competitive and interesting this season is.
By the way Arsenal is winning it.
Arsenal only turned up second half of the season, city drew 4 games in a row in an unlucky manner in the 1st half of the season and nobody capitalized on that
" unlucky manner " like as if arsenal didn't get shafted against Newcastle, villa away, west ham home, Chelsea away firsthalf of season 🤡
Jamie is waffling arsenal could have won half the league titles in the last ten years with 89 points
If Arsenal dont get over 90 points then VAR have cost them the title. Mmmm still no mention of VAR mistakes will decide the title.
Parking the bus at city, loosing twice to villa, nothing to do with var.
Whoever has the most points in the end will win it, Michael Owen 😂
Arsenal need to start paying PGMOL by hosting their refs in Dubai, like Man City do in Abu Dhabi. Those favourable decisions do add up over a season to 5-6 points, and that’s been the difference in 3-4 of City’s PL titles since Guardiola took over.
Spot on - rememeber Rodri’s handball vs Everton in 21 22 robbing Liverpool - and let’s buy even talk abt the free kicks and penalties they’ve been getting recently
There’s this feeling that I believe City will have a banana slip facing the 3 London teams where all 3 are desperate to turn up against the big boys. Arsenal can go and win their remaining games as there’s no pressure on them right now. City know that those charges are coming home as soon as the season is over. Probably Pep will leave too. Fulham. Spurs and West Ham all have a duty. Even though they are not currently competing they can easily ruin City’s title charge. Nevertheless it has been a good season except City have turned the PL truly into a farmers league.
And they said CR7 was the core problem 😏
Come on Arsenal take it to the last day COYG
We should’ve never lost against villa or West Ham this season.. it would’ve been wrapped up already 😢
Terrible way to view it, could say the same about City for Brentford or not winning a single game vs the other top 3 teams. Your going to drop points either way.
Villa are a good team, they’ve beat City this season
We should have won Fulham and Tottenham games
Ah yes, so Arsenal should've gone invincible again, easy peasy, smh.
@@mitchgraham3882 i was saying this because there were games we didn’t manage to score despite multiple chances, in the end we conceded couple of avoidable goals. We can still win the prem tho, but I wouldn’t bet on city to bottle it
Arsenal is two points behind why are we wasting time discussing this
No, Arsenal is one point ahead with City having a game in hand - that makes a big difference - City now have two games in a row where they might slip up (not saying they will but there's certainly a chance they could)
arsenal fans screaming at 89 points thinking what more they have to do. liverpool lost the league with 92 and 97 points so yeah, against city you have to do a lot more than that. welcome to liverpools recent life where you get a one in 10-15 years strong team, but unfortunatelly you have to compete against a way stronger oponent and keeping up is not easy.
Not liverpool anyways jamie they bottled it at old trafford and goodison 😂😂
Im an Arsenal fan and ill say Unai Emery has killed another season off for Arteta. If you look at the betting odds Arsenal are more likely to drop points than City despite having less games go play. This Man City side only drop points when they get complacent ie well ahead on points and players start taking risks for personal glory.
😂City already champ in the beg
Arsenal probably deserve it but I just see City edging it abit and clinching it at the last game
No they don't. You only deserve to win the league if you finish top after 38 games
they deserve it, but when you have the lance armstrong of football ahead of you what exactly do you expect
@theoggunner City haven't lost a game since December.. and if it was all about money? Then Arsenal should of won the league by now, they have outspent City for the past 4 years, NOT 1 year but 4 years. So clearly it isn't just about money ,just ask Man Utd & Chelsea.
So arsenal's league title robbed by var.. var has won how many pls now? Yet were gonna pretend its not a farmers league 😂
Arsenal have themselves to blame. They should have beaten Villa. But Zinchenko lost his head for the first goal.
Should have beaten Villa TWICE & not lost to Newcastle and West Ham ALL due to contentious officiating
The team that gets the most points OBVIOSULY deserves to win. I mean how can anyone say Arsenal deserve to win it if they record fewer points than Man City?
Man city had a very poor start compared to the previous seasons. Plus they has kdb and halland out for a lot of the season. And they will still win it don't say much for the rest
They still are a machine ... In every other league Arsenal's season would have been enough to comfortably win the title
