I’m a student majoring in architecture and your videos is so much helpful that i can finally understand the chiller system which i’ve never fully understood for whole college years... Thanks alot😭
Thank you a lot for the all the effort you put on this videos, they couldn't be more educative. As you mention there is another video about whats exactly going on the Common header, Unfortunately i was not able to fine it, I would appreciate if you send the link. Sincerely yours
Thank you for uploading your videos which are so useful. As you know, ducts are very important parts of HVAC industry.just wondering if you can upload some videos about duct sizing, duct installation, material and ext..... Thanks Babak
Great channel! What is preventing the secondary return water from going back into the secondary supply water through the decoupler line? Or in general, what is preventing the return/supply from mixing around constantly between the primary/secondary loop? Is it all based on pressure differential between the two? Hope that makes sense!
hallo sir i saw your videos i iam happy with that and i requiest you to upload videos on calculetion from strating to finish calculetion of hvac building such as selection of air terminal, duct sizing hydronic pipe sizig vav selection and ahu selection load calculetion and chillarselection caplate tutorial, thank u
Do primary pumps have more pumping capacity or secondary pumps? Second can you explain the chilled water piping design in details and different chilled water pumping types? Different valves are installed at the inlets and outlets of pumps, chillers, FCU, s and AHU,s, So in this regard which standards do we follow?
it depends on the system, most have pump per chiller on the primary side so it is sized for the flow rate of the chiller. the secondary is sized for the loop it serves. The secondary therefore would end up recirculating all the water if it was larger.
@@EngineeringMindset im confused because i think the primary pump should have greater or at least equal pumping capacity of the secondary pumps because the flow passing through the chiller will be going to the individual equipment. If the pumping capacity is lower then we might be having problem due to insufficient amount of water flowing on the secondary pumps. But the pump head of the secondary pump maybe lesser or bigger depending on the system. Please correct me if i am wrong?
When the pumps are constantly working, how will it know how much load is consumed in ahu or how much chilled water need to bypass through the common header? Plz answer
Hi, thanks for the video. May i know is there any video on common header ? because i not understand how the warm water will flow back into the chiller for cooling. Isn't it will become short circuit ? thanks
Is the low loss header installed for the purpose of maintaining the minimum flow rate for the chillers/boilers even though the loading required is not that high?

We would be lost without you sir! My most warm and sincere THANK YOU!
I’m a big fan of your work. The good clear explanations that goes with it makes the systems easy to understand. Keep it up!
thanks for uploading these videos..helps in better visualisation & understanding the concept. ..keep it up I support you...
One of the best engineering videos ever.. Good work. Thanks

Hi Chris, we've not finished it yet. I've added you to the list and we'll let you know when it goes live
can you make a video about constant and variable flow chilled water systems?
please.....
Excellent video per always; thank you.
Thank you for uploading your videos which are so useful.

Babak
thanks so much for this videos ,please continue.....
Please make a video on Primary- Secondary Flow and Variable Primary Flow chilled water system... I would be really thankful
thanks once again paul

yes the pressure is the key difference but some will mix and flow between
Excellent video, thank you very much!
please share technical specification efficient wise comparison between screw & double screw & centrifugal compressors
yep big fan thanks man another good video. Thanks,
Need a detail video about decoupler
Pls explain decoupler/ low loss header purpose in more detail
Thank you for this video!!
can you explain the chemical dosing
and chilled water tests
thank you for your explain how it works
Thank you very much for video
explication very good.
congratulations
Please try to upload your videos in a playslit ,

I'll add it to the list, we will likely break them up into small videos in a series
How to control the flow of water in decoipler pipe without a control valve ? !
Do primary pumps have more pumping capacity or secondary pumps?

Could you pls suggest any book for HVAC system.???

Would you have a buffer vessel on the primary and/or secondary circuit in a typical closed system?
Yes many chiller systems, especially air cooled, will use a buffer to handle surges and reduce the load on the chiller.
A decoupler pipe
Great , keep forward
Hi, thanks for the video. May i know is there any video on common header ? because i not understand how the warm water will flow back into the chiller for cooling. Isn't it will become short circuit ? thanks
Have a look at our chilled water schematic video
thank you!!!!
is the primary and secondary circuits needed for maintaining minimum flow rates for the AHU/FCU based on load requirement
Is the low loss header installed for the purpose of maintaining the minimum flow rate for the chillers/boilers even though the loading required is not that high?
what is the minimum length of the bypass pipe?
What’s another name for this style of circuit? I’ve heard it called by a different name.
Parallel chilled water circuits is another name for this type of plant operation.
hello sir
discharge line rotary compressor ke head PR kyu lgta hai
What happens when the secondary pump fails? Does it shut off water flow to the secondary circuit? Or the main pumps take over?
no water will flow in the secondary, but you would usually have two secondary pumps running in duty and standby just in case
There’s usually a backup pump.
What will happen if i close decoupler valve?
Whats is the average temp of the water reaching the secondary unit?
From 5.5 c to 4.5 unopened in the chiller setpoint and chilled wratr return
Please tell any person .what is parameter 's in hvac system..
Please...
Can you explain in Hindi all videos
