didn't watch the whole video but i like these lures also. The biggest problem with the factory method of rigging is how you lose the piece of elastic/tubing for 2/3 fish you get on. The lure pops open and the elastic falls off. So, the best way i've come up with is to switch to a s tmallreble hook and put the elastic on the line before the hook. The hook prevents the elastic from falling off the rig.

Thats a great idea. Problem is that on a lot of the waters in the Pacific Northwest, treble hooks aren't allowed. I would think adding an additional rubber band over it might work. The kind people tie up there hair with

u can use them to plunking off the bank or out of a boat anchored i use them out of my drift boat and rigged them to bank plunk for my gramps u just slide a bead then corkie up to the superbait or cut plugs nose of the bank and i use a 2/0 or 3/0 then piece of tubing between the gap in your hooks i tied the line to a swivel then split ring onto swivel and treble or siwash onto the split ring and the hook spins like a drill bit right behind the superbait or cut plug superbait doesn't wobble spins like a drill bit and they hit those harder than a plug like a kwikfish or wiggle wart there's no tap tap they just bury it out and it's fish on

i bet that my bead chains are ten times as strong half the size and can handle any type of current roller bearing swivels are the real deal not those crappy bead swivels i toss them don't even let them in my box roller bearing spro or p-line never fail and if one get plugged from debri the others keep rolling those cheap swivels will wad up and tangle everything

how long is your leader from the super bait to the flasher?

TRy running 36" to start. I've caught fish anywhere from 18" to 40" or so, but I wouldn't go much longer than that. You want the action of the super baits to be pretty erratic and whippy most days.

Try tying the swivel on before the hook and and you won't get poked...

Those hooks are not good, I tried them and lost two fish in a row then threw them in the garbage.

Owner SSW Cutting Point hooks are great for Columbia River Salmon, I like a double 2/0 hook set running off the back of the superbaits.
