- Culture, led by the late Joseph Hill, is an iconic roots reggae band from Jamaica and a fan favorite.
I've put together this massive mix of 20 of their most popular songs spanning several decades. I also included 6 of my favorites after these 20 tracks.
While we cannot monetize these videos, we gladly accept donations, which will help us purchase more albums for review and listening sessions.

Please note, I didn't claim that these are 20 of Culture's "best songs". "Best" is too subjective. We all love different songs in different ways. And I'm not in the business of pitting songs against each other.
The list is their "most popular", which is less subjective and easily measured by the number of streams each song has. Of course, number of streams is just one metric. But this was not supposed to be complicated.
The point of this video is to select some songs to introduce a younger generation to Culture.
I'd love to hear what your top 20 or top 10 favorite tracks of Culture are. Blessed love.
Fling stone with all honor Mr Hill

Was lucky to see Culture in California a few times.I always keep it in my heart. Joseph would keep the irie vibes going through the whole show, the man would never rest. high speed energy the whole show. I felt closer to God more than going to church.
I never got to see them, unfortunately. I saw Midnite (Akae Beka) and had that same spiritual experience.
Burning Spear, same thing.
I had an opportunity to watch him live a couple of times non stop on stage for two hours. He was one o the best. He was my favorite.

After Bob Marley culture is the second King of reggae❤
@@ajayiemmanuel5846 Culture's music was more roots, more conscious than Bob's, by far.
@@iriereviews I hold Bob highly as a freedom fighter and trailblazer of the reggae revolution but musically and specifically Reggae music, I put Culture high up there over Bob. Lyrically, yes, Bob. Anything else, CULTURE! I may be biased to Bob because he did not have as many albums or songs as Culture because his tragic passing on in '81. They're both ICONS. That's what matters most.
My people please don't forget Peter Tosh!!

I went to see him in Clapham Junction ,it was the best night of my life, I still have the ticket I have all his Lps rhat was in the late 90s you lied what you are saying and playing isn't his best music go back and relisting again my youth 😊
@@janetcollins2887 I specifically stated, "most popular songs" which is simply based on how many listens the songs have. I don't know why this is an issue and you have to say "I lied". I never said his "best" which is hella subjective. However, popularity of a song is easily measured.
If you have your top 20 most liked, please share it. Give thanks.
