  • Former chef and martial arts trainer Peter Fitzek has founded his own micronation called the Kingdom of Germany. It consists of several properties around the city of Wittenberg, south of Berlin. It has 25 citizens, its own currency, an official state limousine, and passports. VICE Germany visited Peter back in June to find out how serious he is about this whole starting-a-new-nation thing.

Was it National Socialism…or was it kinda like Mondragon? It didn't seem that clear to me….what it actually was. Mondragon is awesome. There's even a smaller version that's been operating in Cleveland OH for years. They are the opposite of Nazis.

Mark, after studying the subject for more than half a century, I can say that the only human system that ever worked was inherited from our animal beginnings.
Humans DO require/need a strong and clever leader.
The ideal structure is a dictatorship. The difficulty is finding a benevolent Dictator!
      As a famous saying goes:
"Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely"
      A last thought:
The more people involved in management, the more evil or incompetent participants there will be. All disastrous decisions come from committees of the lesser intelligent.

    • @markmiller5476
      @markmiller5476 10 лет назад +6

Jack Rigby hirachy does come naturally to humans. But imposing a hirachy artificially or having a hirachy that extends beyond the community or takes away sovereign power from individuals is bad. If you have a small community founded on direct democratic principles then a hirachy may naturaly evolve but it can be dynamic challengeable and democratic and the lower and higher members of the hirachy will know each other and depend on each other. In a wolf pack which is highly hirachy bound the alpha and beta males often make sure the omega is treated fairly and the omega in turn contributes a lot to the group. If you have a network of these communities then you have a far more operational and 'natural' form of society than any massive far reaching dictatorship. Societies have existed in this way for thousands of years all over the world but are on the brink of extinction due to the evolution and spread of imperialism.

Maybe here´s a point where humans could really evolve. If we could get over our animal-based society. I may sound romantic, but we spent thousands of years concentrating on technology, instead of improving ourselves or the systems of power we live in. may it not be possible that the current and ongoing forms of leadership are just a heritage from our primate grandgrandgrandgrandfathers? sorry for the bad english, btw.

They also take new people who want to join the cause so i guess after all these years the settlement will grow again.

Yes he is indeed insane as you can read in his eyes. There is a checklist for psychopaths (From Robert D. Hare) and I think he fulfills all of the criteria... Most remarkable during the interview was his blunt behavior (what you often see in schizophrenic patients as well) and ability to control his and others emotions. A normal human being is not able to hide such basic emotions. He also speaks openly about controlling people with in his past and that he is attracting and controlling people now with nice offers instead of fear.
I think a brain scan would prove highly evolved atrophy as well as largely dilated ventricles due to his psychiatric disorder.
He is a highly dangerous individual because he is about to ruin thousands of lifes by manipulating them and letting them follow his believs. The type of institution he is about to found is similar to a sect and I think that we should arrest him into a psychiatric hospital in order to protect others from his toxic and manipulative traits. He accumulated already millions of euros with his system and polarized people so far with his sick ideologies that they shout on policemen in the middle of germany...

but then when he was talking about disabilities, he said you can control everything...

Hmmm, you must be young. You do not understand obviously. We can of course control our state of health. We can of course control our thoughts and actions. We can control how we conduct ourselves toward one another. Many are setting themselves up for failure, sickness or disability. It's what we have learnt over the centuries in a corrupt environment. We corrupt ourselves to be pittied, to be looked after, to make others feel guilty, to cover many things we do not want to deal with. It all goes hand in hand. Disabilities are often also a sign of not taking care of oneself properly. Not being watchful... It's the Buddhist way. Disability is often also a punishment. But these things can be learnt. And you will find, that it is not contradictory at all, but inclusive actually.

I would recommend work exchanges for this community-state living idea also. Example: contribute to growing food in the garden and tending to livestock in exchange for housing and food. I think the community-state is cool idea. It has the potential for corruption, but if run with ethical conviction it could really be a great thing. Understanding that we are beings of planet earth, that the Sun’s distance creates the seasons, and the we rely on Earth for our survival, I think it’ll work out fine.

BRD is a Corporation and a department of the US of America. BRD is under siege by the US until 2099. So seems like you make some pretty silly statements without the foundation of any knowledge at all. Do some research and then come back. And also, read the bible. @@ritakonig1891 no, I live in America. Where we have 400 million guns...and if one doesn't learn to use one, one is at a distinct disadvantage. The second amendment was instantiated in our literal constitution for the reason of keeping government corruption in check. (At least that was one of the primary reasons)
If you think that we're in some new, magical modern age where governments aren't capable of large-scale abuse of the citizenry, the I'd respectfully suggest you've grown VERY complacent.
      I certainly am not German.
My experience has been that the ones that most of vociferously tell me I don't need a gun are the ones I need to watch the most carefully, because I think that at best they're woefully complacent. At worst, they're staunch statists who are true believers in the goodness and infallibility of the government.
I don't believe police and government should be the only armed forces and I believe history bears this out time and time again.
If guns are not part of your daily life then they seem scary, alien and strange. If you were raised knowing how to safely use them, they're a brilliant tool of defense, sport and hunting.
It's the freedom of having someone bust into your house at 3 in the morning and actually being able to defend your family from being abused.
When you live 25 minutes from any police intervention, like I do, that is a freedom. Freedom to not be abused by whomever wishes to come along and take from me.

@@jazeenharal6013I am not American and I am sure that as you said, growing up in the vicinity of firearms or in a culture that allows them results in less fear, however I can see the huge toll firearms take on your population. To me, it is apparent that regulation would reduce that and it's frustrating to see this being brought against fictional scenarios like a break-in at 3 AM or a corrupt government. In the history of the USA, has there been an armed revolt against the US-government (aside from January 6 which would prove my point)? -No. Additionally, you can also argue that break-ins and robberies are more-so armed due to the second amendment, as well as police and military. Fyi, London cops don't have guns, meanwhile some departments in the USA look like a small army.
To your worry about maintaining democracy and rule by the people, many actually smart people (neither me nor you) dealt with that:
Separation of powers (not like your SCOTUS nominations by executive power)
      Accessibility to votes
Voting system that values all voted equally
And maybe more than two parties
So you can have your freedom, security and democracy through reforms which would generally strengthen that as well without a death toll of thousands per year - Like most other democratic powers.

@@Caesar.2006 the problem is that there really is no way around it at this point.
There would be mass noncompliance. It may be the issue that would literally break the union down state lines. I cannot overstate how important it is to many people here.
The criminals already carry illegally. The only people disarmed would be those who care about the law.
As for Europe. When you include overall murder deaths, not just gun deaths, many Western European countries have more murder per capita than the USA, just with knives and blunt objects. In America you see similar, and lower, overall murder rates, but it's with a gun.
And anyone who knows about knives and guns knows that an unskilled person is far more dangerous with a knife than an unskilled person with a gun.
Is it better to die with a knife? I don't see how Europe solved any of its issues...your media just stopped reporting on the level of knife crime that occurs.
Is it not death all the same? People will take their aggression out, you're just going to get more people using different instruments that are less scary.
I see it as a last bastion against many of the things we'd never wish to see in the United States, but that have become very commonplace in Europe.
After the 2nd amendment can just be thrown out, what's next? The first.
We see how you're being arrested for nonviolent political speech over there: people literally being imprisoned for tweets that are being interpreted as "threatening social harmony".
Those are things that we really, really do not want, and I truly believe a disarmed population is the first step to a bound and gagged population.
If I could snap my finger and fix it all, sure, I'd snap my fingers and remove malice, death and all manner of evil from the world. But as it stands now, there is absolutely no easy way to disarm a country like America without draconian, authoritarian methods and great bloodshed; bloodshed that would probably end up with a stalemate and nothing gained.
You've got a States system and at least 1/3 of the states will literally drop out of the union before they'd be disarmed. It's something to consider.
      1) How bad is the problem, really and how much of it is a magnifying glass being put on the problem?
      2) Will the solution only serve to disarm the law-abiding and leave everyone else sitting ducks? (And armed criminals will know this, too. You see some of the lowest crime rates in areas with the highest legal gun ownership)
      3) Why is it worse to die by bleeding out from a gunshot versus bleeding out from a knife? Is that somehow more sophisticated? Because I'm looking at statistics showing that the death rates in many European countries are higher per capita than the USA, but it's all with knives.
Is there really a solution to this issue in a country with 500 million known guns...and those are the known ones. Probably closer to a billion guns floating around.
How do you solve an issue so entrenched when at least 1/4 of the population will NEVER give them up?

I have to respect this guy for the sheer amount of guts it takes to try and pull something like this up.
Sure, it takes a bit of crazy to do it, and this guy surely has it, so I wish him all the best.

Lol, I know my comment is super late, but just to give you an update on him from someone who lives right next to his "kingdom": He's been in and out of jail, tried to attack and beat up several judges who sentenced him to time in prison and is overall a douchebag that is also against any kind of vaccination.

Bad words on here show me how much fear is in the world, and yet most of these have probably taken the jab without so much as looking at proper protocol and/or done some research. Funny that. And fear has never been a good advisor, but in the case of the C19 jab there is so much faith for something that goes directly into the body without so much of a little knowledge via a little research. And as for with this man, nobody has to follow! He forces nobody! Everyone is there of their own will. I see a very askew picture, can you?

Principality of Sealand yes, I wish they would attempt to add to their total land mass
Republic of Molossia no, they pay taxes and are ruled by the US more of a LARPing situation. But I’ll tell you what he is probably the most well known as his micronation is a physical location and takes visitors

The intro is misleading. Although you can create a variety of non-profit organisations you always have to obey to German laws.
He can call it "Kindgom of Germany" whatever he wants but it's just a name/group/organisations operating in Germany. Thats it.
No own laws, no own rules, no loophole or whatsoever.

    3 things that I don't agree with:
1.) Paper money. If you start over at least use silver coins.
2.) The whole religious thing going on should not be part of a new system
3.) If a child is born with a disability, it sure as hell did not choose to be that way.

As crazy as it sounds the mind and the human body are capable of seemingly miraculous things. I have been able to heal myself and others with the use of mushrooms/ lsd/ or mescaline for almost 15 years now. Not only would I be able to repair my body but I could re synchronize all of the functions in my body to work in perfect harmony with each other. Not only would I heal myself physically but also spiritually and psychological/emotionally. As crazy as it sounds I could also heal others by climbing in levels of consciousness until I eventually left my body and reached a level of what I call "UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS" almost like climbing psychological ladder at first and then the "ladder" for lack of a better term becomes spiritual. It's difficult not to get distracted if you are not in the right setting. Music and different kinds of symbolism and imagery can help someone get there faster but it is not necessary. Anyway, when I would reach this "UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS" I was then able to climb back down using the spiritual and psychological "ladders" that connect every living and non living thing to the universal consciousness or "THE ALL" as hermetic philosophers refer to it. They wouldn't even have to be in front of me for me to do so although it was a lot easier and more accurate/ potent of a healing if they were sitting in front of me especially if I were looking I to their eyes. Truly the windows to the soul. The all is truly all. Transcending all of time, space, thought, and any possibility in existence and "non existence " which technically exists in its not existence. The NOTHING exists within the ALL not vice versa. Read the Kybalion if you're interested in learning more about Hermetic Philosophy and the topic of universal consciousness and THE ALL. As for learning techniques of shamanism and consciousness expansion I honestly have never found anything as enlightening or as magickal as the psychedelic experience although it is NOT for everyone and should ALWAYS be treated with respect and under the right circumstances/ setting to avoid simply having an "ooh aaw look at the colors" trip for over 8 hours without actually "breaking through" or even worse a bad trip... "Milk for babes, meat for strong men."⚧🔯⚕

I think its clear to see that this man has had some sort of interactions in his life that would not normally befall a common man. Through this as deceivingly abnormal as that sounds he has gained some sort of supernatural inspiration to pursue a lifestyle in which he is attempting to rewire every aspect of cultural existence set upon mankind. He has forced upon his own mental reality the constant fact that pursuing this lifestyle is his true destiny.

Just read that he will go to prison for 3 months. He used his self made drivers license and got caught 8 times till now. The judge apparently just smiled at him when P. Fitzek said, that he indeed has a licence, a license issued by the Kingdom of Germany.
