Thank you! I will be travelling alone and have been looking specifically for Joby tripod/selfie stick although not sure which one to get atm. Also contemplating to bring just phone or phone and camera 😮
I just bought a joby gorilla pod 1k kit and the ball head must be the same as the one on your joby tele pod there is now way I would trust it or even try it with a 1kg camera. thank you for the great review I was thinking of buying the telepod but I think I will give it a miss my Nebula by Anker always feels strong enough but isn't as tall as the telepod and its not comfortable to hold but I don't flog so I hardly ever use it hand held
J - I like your detailed and critical reviews. I've owned 2 of the older version of the Joby but have always been disappointed with the build quality and longevity of Joby products. I found the tripod legs wobbly and can too easily be bent. The ball heads are also horrible because are made of some synthetic material that eventually just disintegrates. The design was appealing the execution horrible. I was attracted to it because it could fold down small, had multiple angles with low clearance feet and that you could extend it much further than most tripods of a similar size folded down. That aside their execution sucks. I own almost every size of their gorilla pod too - way over rated and will get loose and floppy with minimal use.
Not worth the cost. Broke the extendable stick just a few moments after purchasing it. I only bought this stick because the (cheap but heavy duty) one I brought with me on my travel got misplaced.
Extremely good video quality. You'll one day reach with high end youtubers with tons of subs!
TY!

I wonder why did you chose the pro over the non pro version. I’m considering the non pro but wondering what is it missing since it’s $4o cheaper
Capacity of Pro is 1 kg, non pro is just 325 grams, so depends on your camera.
Would this hold a iPhone 12 Pro Max when fully extended? Open with support from the three legs? Or would it tip over?
It should do very well! My camera is heavier than a smartphone.
SO.... a year later, is it still good and functioning and did not break or got weaker?
I don't r3fmmene
@@jsyntaxmedia r3fmmene?! what is r3fmmene

Hello. i hope you could do a side by side comparison and review of ulanzi mt-34 multi-functional extendable tripod and griptight pro telepod. thanks
Great suggestion!
Hi, great review! Are you able to measure the length of it (including the ball head)? The dimensions on the Joby website seem to be wrong.
Let me check - !
@@jsyntaxmedia Would love to know this too.
Hello, How do you charge the battery?
I just bought one like literally an hour ago
Nice review!
