I Corinthians 10:11 say, "Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition (warning), upon whom the ends of the ages have come." In Chapter 30 we learn Jacob knew to move his flocks a certain way to conceive streaked, speckles and spotted sheep/rams in vs 39. What we learn is in Chapter 31 was Jacob got this idea from the Lord, vs 10-12.
