The three Deborah Gibson sequences are taken from a half-hour reel of raw footage (one camera only) taken when Gibson took over as Belle. The raw footage was made into a four-minute press reel.
I used to have a crush on him in high school. I forgot about him, but then I rediscovered him around Christmas time of 2020 and I've been searching for anything he's been in, like I did in high school.
Misogynist? Please, I think they did this because they wanted to give more prominence to Beast in the musical, not to be called macho or misogynist. That would not come from a musical that has someone like Belle. I think they should have done it like Wicked or Frozen, where the two protagonists receive the applause together.
I’ve seen several community theatre, high school and regional productions of Beauty and the Beast all over San Diego & Los Angeles and EVERY TIME Belle is always the final bow OR she and the Beast bow together
I love the part where Maurice gives Belles hand to the prince. It basically says that he forgives the Beast and proudly will let belle marry him
That and like Belle he finally sees him as human not a monster
Well Maurice knew Belle finally found someone worthy of her love!!

Yep---one of the reasons I put these up is because you are still seeing the original sets at the Palace.
aurora spiderwoman I believe Toni Braxton was the last one to start and end at the Palace, Andrea McArdle started at the Palace but ended at the Lunt
